CAMERA are once again the first to pre another big hollywood movie but this time it’s not a CAM but a DVDSCR of Things We Lost In The Fire. Surprisingly this is the first release of this film so you won’t have to wait a couple of moths for a better copy. The only negative thing would be that there are messages at the bottom of the video stream. I have yet to see this movie but judging from the commercials and trailer it seems like a good movie containing great actors like Benicio Del Toro (who is rarely in a bad film) and that’s all I can really say , you want more info go to imdb. After an unspeakable tragedy, two people get a second chance at life in “Things We Lost in the Fire.” When Audrey Burke (Halle Berry) loses her husband in an act of random violence, she forges an unlikely relationship with Jerry Sunborne (Benicio Del Toro), her husband’s best friend from childhood. Jerry is a heroin user; his addiction has destroyed everything that was once important to him. As Audrey discovers that Jerry is the only person who can help her survive her loss, Jerry finds the strength to overcome his own problems. Acclaimed Danish director Susanne Bier helms.

    here is a link for the movie, which i look forward to see. There have been a lot of talking of this movie here in denmark, because the director is danish. This movie will not hit the danish cinemas before next year, so this dvdscr is indeed very early for me.

    Great early release, but I think I’ll skip it for now. Seems like a pretty straightforward drama.

    No black and white scenes… occasionally a message at the bottom of the screen “For Award Consideration” and occasional numbers at the top right of the screen. Not intrusive to the viewing experience. Excellent quality.

    I did notice that in a couple places in the movie, the scene cuts were abrupt. Not like two people were in the middle of a conversation and then suddenly… next scene. But just a couple places where I said, “hmmm”.

    I don’t know. Watch it, enjoy it and then see if you know what i mean.

    Story was pretty good as well. I didn’t burst out in tears like i thought i might. Del Toro did a SUPERB job. scary good.

    … it’s cropped a bit too much at the top and bottom of the screen, but not bad enough to keep you from enjoying the movie.

    Must be missing 8 minutes of the movie with those abrupt scene changes. This one is 1hr 51mins. IMDB has 1hr 59mins.
