The Simpsons S19E14 PDTV XViD-HiQT & The Simpsons S19E14 HR PDTV x264-DIMENSION

Seeing as Mr. X is not here to posts tonights Simpson’s I’ll take the liberty of doing so. I didn’t watch this episode tonight so I can’t tell you whether it was good or not but the Simpsons are always good. The pdtv version is brought to us by a new group HiQT.

Bart and Lisa pull a prank on Martin Prince that goes terribly wrong and they become burdened with guilt over Martin’s untimely death. Meanwhile, Marge hires an investigative television show to follow Homer around after she suspects him of cheating on his diet.

I’ll watch it when it airs on TV in another half hour, but do they seriously kill off Martin!? If he doesn’t come back somehow I’ll be really upset, Martin’s a loser, but that’s the point of him being there!

  12. March 10th, 2008 | 03:29

    @ 11

The 720p version always takes longer to appear online. just wait

there is no difference between an hdtv and a pdtv source if the res is 512×384 with MP3 audio.

@5 Ya best of the season, but im afraid thats not saying much anymore.

  31. March 10th, 2008 | 04:29

Marceli, here I am to correct a few things:
    @ 13

there is no difference between an hdtv and a pdtv source if the res is 512×384 with MP3 audio.

    HDTV:
Stands for High Definition Television. HDTV rips are digital recordings from a source stream at either 1080i or 720p at a bitrate from 19,39mbps or higher.
    Also usually widescreen.

    HR:
HR stands for High Resolution and refers to 480i / 480p formats. 480i and 480p releases are usually tagged with HR.

    PDTV:
Other resolution digital tv recordings from source streams at a bitrate of 10+mbps or higher. It is a label given to files that were ripped directly from a purely digital source, having less resolution than HDTV.
    Usually fullscreen.

    DSR:
Digital stream rip is a rip that is captured from a digital source stream, such as a HDTV or DVB transmission. Quality is similar to PDTV. Synonym: DSRip.
Can be full or widescreen, this is the worse quality digital tv rip format besides analogue ripping.

    Geeks :-p

  33. March 10th, 2008 | 04:35

yes I realize that mrx but using an hdtv source and encoding it at a low res such as 512×384 will get you the same result as using a pdtv source and encoding at 512×384

    pdtv source encoded @ 512×384 = hdtv source encoded @ 512×384

Definitely one of the better episodes of The Simpsons in the past few years. Sure it doesn’t tug the heartstrings, be as clever or hit you as hard as it used to, but the gag rate in this episode makes it worth a watch.

Is it right to suggest that RLS should post a stream link for TV shows and even movies? I don’t know if theres enough demand but I would sure appreciate it as I sometimes have trouble finding stream links for new shows

I truly hated this episode. It was pretty grim and several characters behaved completely out of character.

There have been poor episodes before, but I got the feeling the plot was originally written for another show/film and they fit the Simpsons cast into it.

Last week’s episode was way better in my opinion.

    March 10th, 2008 | 20:53

Sry. But how long do we have to watch this crap ? I mean since s.6-7 they compl. lost the typical simpson spirit. Its not funny and just a waste of time.

  58. March 10th, 2008 | 23:20

    @ 56

explain to me how hes right than… if you have a 720p source but you choose to encode it at 512×384 there is nothing hd about it because it a low definition output. so using a 480p source and encoding at 512×384 is also a low definition output. sure the source is better on the first encode but the result is the same on both.
