There Will Be Blood TELECINE XViD-PUKKA

First telecine of 2008 and it couldn’t be any better with the release of the very popular movie There Will Be Blood by PUKKA. Unfortunately the quality isn’t as good as I had hoped it would have been but it is still very watchable. The sound is fine too not bad but not great. The movie has been highly rated at IMDB and Rotten Tomatoes so its defiantly worth watching enjoy.

A sprawling epic about family, greed, corruption, and the pursuit of the American dream. Set in the booming West coast oil fields at the turn of the 20th century, “There Will Be Blood” follows the rise of rugged prospector Daniel Plainview (Day-Lewis) who becomes an independent oilman after hitting it rich with the strike of a lifetime. Written and directed by Paul Thomas Anderson, the film is inspired by Upton Sinclair’s novel “Oil!”

At the risk of asking a stupid question, is there any reason that when I play the extracted file in my DivX player, there is no sound?
    Am I doing something wrong?
    Any help would be appreciated…

@105, Matt i don’t know what are your divx players but VLC Media Player always work so you should use it… And everyone who doesn’t have sound should use VLC, it always works.

Just to make it clear :
    DO NOT WATCH THIS RELEASE
The quality is awfull (very dark, poor details), the syncing is problematic on CD2, and most of all, those cuts are causing severe damages to the story… Wait for another release or, better, go see this one in theater, it’s worth it…

audio sync issues on disc 2 made me feel i was watching a Japanese lip synced movie, then the abrupt change or cuts in scenes left me confused and the ending must be cut out or it would be the worst ending in a movie i have seen. Wait for the proper or the dvdscr!

The real thing is that all the Scene protects the Daniel Day-Lewis works, so, you will never watch a cam, ts, tc or dvdscr. Yes, its amazing, buts true. Maybe we are living the first time on history that sources are together so we can“t enjoy a movie.

    Sorry my bad english.

The Scene release probably won’t come until the actual DVD is out. Personally, I think everyone should go to the cinema to see it, but not all have that opportunity.

Amazing film though, probably my favourite of the year.
