mVs have released the much anticipated proper (or ‘repack’) for the hottest film of the moment. They’ve also thrown in a completely useless NFO that doesn’t tell us anything about this release other than “audio fixed and nothing to say”. I’m all hope they got it right this time.

Synopsis: Director Paul Thomas Anderson’s THERE WILL BE BLOOD is a masterly, unflinching examination of a consummately evil man. Daniel Plainview (via a transcendent performance by the great Daniel Day-Lewis) is, as he likes to remind those around him, an oil man: he finds it, he drills for it, and he makes money from it. Following a tip from a visitor named Paul Sunday, whose family sits atop a veritable ocean of oil, Plainview travels to the town of New Boston, California, with his young son. Sunday’s preacher brother Eli (both roles are played by the excellent Paul Dano) grudgingly accepts Plainview’s ambitions under the condition that he help fund the town church.

    Yeah, there are megashares links, but I still have EIGHT hours left for just the first CD. And with rapidshare, you’ve got to wait like an hour between each download. Fourteen parts = fourteen hours, plus the download times. Flyupload is like an hour or two max.

    Megashares 250Mb, na na na like this!
    Go to the megashare page you want, enter the code to reactivate passport,scroll down to “Click here to download”, Right click the words “Click here to download” and copy link location, close page when done, paste the link into flashget or similar and hit download, Wait until it hits 250Mb or 255Mb[so there is no time left on ticket] and hit pause, Open the page to the megashare file again and refresh a few times and have patience for this [worked for me after about 5 min] after a short time you can enter the code to reactivate the passport again, once it is reactivated hit resume download in flashget and download another 255Mb and repeat the process till download is done, Faster than waiting an hour on rapidshare. Have fun!

    This movie is fantastic. Hands down will win tomorrow night.

    I would LOVE a full DVD quality rip.
    I am really enjoying this but the weak quality on a 46″ tv isnt that great… sound is a little funky on 5.1 too.

    Let me read you a story titled “Freeloaders, Rapidshare, and the STFU Policy” by chrome307

    It begins in a world much like our own, where pirates roam free, taking what was not theirs without a single care. Unlike most pirates, the pirates on this world banded together and worked as a group, helping others out. Yes, there were those that did far more giving than taking, and they were highly revered. Yes, those with ships seemed to receive their gold in much bigger quantities, and at a much quicker pace. However, when the ship landed with the gold on board, a few pirates were waiting, scowls on their faces. They questioned the ship and it’s crew, shouting jeers and rants even though they we’re still receiving the gold for free!

    “Is this all of it?” shouted one of the pirates.

    “Our own ship? But that cost’s money! Why should we have to pay to get our gold when you’re giving it to us anyway? You should have more ships going to bring it to us faster! That shouldn’t be our responsibility!” The group behind the pirate shouted in agreement.

    “Brethren, a ship costs a mere few coins, and I can only bring you so much in this amount of time. Are you not happy that I have still given this to you?” The Captain shook his head in disbelief, still very confused over the questioning. What could make his fellow pirates so ignorant and greedy?

    “We demand you use a different ship, one that suits our needs better. We should not have to do more work when you’re doing it already.” The pirates continued on and on, but the Captain simply sighed and returned to his cabin. His crew still passed out the gold, and while many thanked him and took his advice to send out their own ships, a few still sat and grumbled at him and his crew. Those that grumbled never showed any thanks, and some even still took the gold from him, making sure that they showed they weren’t happy to do so.

    The moral of the story is…if you’re too cheap to pay a couple dollars for a premium Usenet account so you can download thousands of dollars in free games and movies easier, you need to STFU about people using rapidshare or megaupload because of how long it takes on their free services.

So I copy and paste the rapidshare links into rapidshares download manager ( https://ssl.rapidshare.com/en/rsm.html ), click download, then I walk away. RS links are always the fist downloads available and there are great sites were people share their rs links, like http://www.tehParadox.com or http://www.ForumW.org.

    BUT it is the whole movie. Part two is about 1 hour and 32 minutes and Part one is about another 51 minutes. Part three is the last part which is 13 minutes

    Google a program Burn for Mac, free download. No bells and whistles, menus,etc. but will convert and join automatically(sp) avi’s and convert to mpeg files for burning to disc. You’ll still need your comp burner or external burner to finalize. A normal 700mb avi takes about 2-3 hours. I’m thinking the length of this and after converting it may only fit on a DL DVD but haven’t started to down it until the war is pretty clear to be over. Good luck (Use DVD-RW to play with so you waste money on a crappy movie or burn) Otherwise look into Toast which will cost but this is the torrent age. :)

    I was able to DL all 3 links. With the Yastorage files that is more than 1CD what I generally do is wait 2-4 minutes between downloading of the files, seems to work for me, then I can download as many as I want. I had a problem a few weeks ago when I would try to DL at the same time wouldn’t, tried the 2-4 minute thing and it worked so far for me.

    If you download from ‘thepiratebay’ there are 627-seeders and 9542-leachers :-(

    Because ‘moviex’ leaches from ‘thepiratebay’ but doesn’t seed to it, on the EXACT SAME TORRENT listed on moviex, there are 587-seeders and 176-leachers. :-)

    Plus moviex members tend to be much better seeders than you’d find on thepiratebay tracker.

    yeah, definately something to think about — a paid for service that steals a lot of it’s source capability from the free p2p world, it only gets such good stats and figures because the script they use fools the system into thinking it’s uploading at a decent rate to ALL, when in fact all they are doing is stealing bandwidth from free users and giving nothing back, thus the figures show lots of seeders from the free p2p sector, whilst the only people able to download are those that pay for their service, of course your going to have higher seeders than leechers, it is a system that breeds leeching and selfishness, i will never subscribe there, and will always delete their tracker from any torrents, including the 3 i am currently seeding at a ratio of 3+ … not bad on my upload speed for full DVDR’s, and i’ve been the only one seeding those files since before christmas.

    on a happier note, i now have the mVs repack, TPB torrent picked up over night to so good speeds obviously, judging by the completed time, and the p2p release i will have by the time i get back in later.

    Yastorage played silly buggers, sometimes all looked good but the download never started, other times the “F” never became clickable as others report, so i gave up, in the time i spent screwing around with it, and different browsers etc etc, i could have grabbed it from RS, even as a free user swapping proxies it would have probably been faster !

    I saw this at the cinemas yesterday, though I knew I could DL a screener the same day. I am glad to say it was worth the money and would encourage you all to support the film by buying the DVD or seeing it in cinemas..:D

    The NewTorrent mVs DVDSCR torrent is faulty. The sound

    IF you connect the 3 parts for SOME reason the second and third disc go out of sync. IDK why but if you just watch separetly they are fine.

    Plus, the 2 yastorage links is for this release while the three are for the p2p version

    just finished watching the mVs REPACK version, perfect, good picture and audio was fine :)

    i have a question for those that have the DVDR:

    is this ok, and in sync all the way through ? i’m thinking to burn a copy of this film, but to be honest i can get the DVDR faster than converting it by using the RS links posted, but i was just curious of the quality before i suck up that much bandwidth on RS

    Well spotted sir. This will apply to all the releases. The reason for this is because the original uploader(a self confessed first-timer) made the cut at this point to make the second of three avi’s. He obviously failed to restart at the same point. As well as the video jumping it also started all the sync problems. Don’t know how much is missing (may be able to find out from the Pukka tc)
    Btw you have just ruined my 3cd xvid recode. Full resolution,
    ac3 audio but i might as well cut a sample out to prove your point.

    Downloaded this a couple of days ago and finally get to watch it today. CD1 video and audio sync for fist 50 mins, last 20 minutes not sync. CD2 sync for first 30 seconds, the rest not sync.

    They should cast D.Day Lewis to play Kr4v3n in the next one.
    Recast Spiderman for the guy from Donny Darko/Rendition as Peter parker, he looks like a comic character already. Or even the guy who played Venom as P.P, he wasn’t to convincing as Venom in the 3rd one anyways(should of been older). Throw out that wench Kristen Kunrz and recast Mary Jane for Ali Larter or that Cheerleader from Heros even, anyone actually except for Kristen. That fool ruined Spiderman francise for any future sequels.

    What a cluster fuk! The sudio is way outa sync on both discs, and I look at the jumble fux list of comments with people running around with there chicken heads cut off! When someone uploads a “Proper” repack of this call me.

    I agree with #350. This is an overhyped movie. But it does have a great tone to it and I loved the music. And the performance by Daniel Day-Lewis was the best of the year by far. But… the last quarter of the film lacks a punch. It’s basically plotless. I still recommend it because it’s worth seeing.
