Well, seems I’ve become addicted to making posts here at rlslog, so even now before I go to bed on my HOLIDAY, I’ll be making a post, but only because this is such a special film. Holy shit has it been a day for film! I leave for 24 hours and some of the most anticipated films appear in great quality. I’ll be watching Dan in Real Life soon :D . There will be Blood is the Oscar nominated film which has been praised all over the world by critics (8.8 on IMDB with over 28,000 ratings and #23 on the top 250 list is simply incredible). Enjoy!

EDIT: Small update here… I’m sorry to spoil the “There Will Be Blood” festival, but the release has been nuked. The reason: cd2.oos.no.sound.after.29mins. Hopefully we can expect a PROPER soon, because this nuke pretty much renders the release unwatchable. Stay tuned for news.

Quality: The quality looks absolutely superb for a DVD screener. The video quality looks great and the audio quality sounds great as well. As far as I can see so far there are no black and white scenes or watermarks and nothing is mentioned in the NFO, so this is an awesome rls! THANKS mVs!

In the 1890s, Daniel Plainview, a struggling silver miner, finds his true wealth in petroleum extraction while taking the orphaned child, H.W., as his own for a valuable family man image.     Not everyone can access torrents. A major example of that would be students living in the dorms – which is probably a very large amount of Rlslog visitors. On top of that, not everyone is in charge of their computer’s router or knows how to set their computer up properly for torrents.

    They show that HW is someone elses kid in the first ten minutes of the movie. It’s not a spoiler. In fact it’s one of the things that makes Daniel so despicable; that he’s using someone else’s kid to promote himself as a “family man”.

    Anyway, there’s a lot more going on here than just CD2 being OOS. After 52 minutes ther’s a weird “jump”, it goes black then comes back in with audio from a completely different part of the film. It’s like many minutes of audio got lost there, and that’s why CD2 has no audio after a while.

    Yeah, so I really don’t think this movie is great at all. Sure, the acting’s fantastic, as is the style, but there very little that ever happens in the plot. If you like movies for their sheer awe as an artform, then you’ll probably love the movie, but if you like something with a good story and a feeling of purpose, you will be left wanting a lot more.

    Because RS is much faster (at least for me) – with torrents you have to sit and wait like forever till someone is seeding, I see some people who download from torrents that they download with 40kb or so, really I download from RS with around 900-930kb – sorry but I dont have the time and patience for torrents :D

    (SORT OF SPOILER ALERT) actually they don’t reveal that H.W. isn’t Daniel’s son until the end. The way H.W. is introduced is quite ambiguous. I am of the belief that H.W. was actually Daniel’s son, Daniel choosing to say otherwise was simply in his nature of competition. Pay close attention to the flashback of them right before the mishap with H.W. and the first Derrick in the later stage of the film. Just my opinion.

    ur a dumass. u do realize that the pre time only works for specific torrent sites??? if u use bitnation it might be a couple of secs but if u use torrentbytes it might be a couple of hours :D

    I hardly ever use torrents, its way to slow. Even on all the private trackers I have access to. Since Demonoid went down, it seems like there is only lame mainstream sh’t found on torrents. I get up to 8000 kB/s from Usenet, since I am on a 100Mb/s line. I use some FTP servers I have access to and Usenet. (via FTP i go max speed)

    I get max 4-700 kB/s via torrents, and it is just a pain for my routers…

    I like this site, since I can get all of the stuff posted here in a few minutes. I normaly go for full DVD’s and HD mkv’s.

    To bad this release was fubard, I guess it’s going to be late march before a dvdrip. Picture on this release was hardly any better than the TC. Not on a large LCD anyway.

    $15 a month for a premium newsgroup provider, is peanuts.
    I download about 1TB a month………

    The same thing happened with the first good quality dvdscr of No Country for Old Men that had audio problem when it was way out of sync with the speech. Is it the same group that encoded this one.

    BRILLIANT!!!! i watched this when it was out in the telesync variety, i have been raving this to all of my mates, a DVDSCR is perfect, though i reckon the next time i see it it will be on the big screen… seriously, watch this at the cinema first, i was so pissed off for watching no country for old men on my MINUTE 43″ telly!

    ok, some releases are big enough that they make it to torrents or usenet or if they are THAT BIG, rapidshare if your lucky enough, for MOST releases, they are so small that they stay only within the scene, so you cant get hold of them. either join the scene, or just cry, you wont be able to get hold of the weirder more obscure releases.

    We understand that you are on holiday but really it isn’t a good excuse to post such a screwed release. I understand you don’t have access to everything you would have. I’m not exactly sure what that means. Obviously if you are writing on this thread you have access to a computer. Perhaps you are saying that you don’t have access to a fast internet connection. In that case you really shouldn’t be posting releases at all right now. If you hear of something maybe you can have one of the other admin take a look at it, rather than just taking a stab in the dark hoping that it is a good one. And what’s the deal with the user banning. For those who don’t know already… there’s such a thing as proxies. IF he bans you, just use a proxy and come back.
    Oh and don’t take this as a flame REEGED. It’s not. I’m just trying to point out that you are an important part of an important community and there are certain ways to go about doing things. And I realize that we don’t have to come here if we don’t like it but if I had that mentality I would more than likely never go to work again.

    Is there a reason all these scene releases have messed up sound. I mean, of all the dvdrips I’ve made from my own DVD collection I cannot think of a single instance where the audio was borked so badly. I’m not just talking about clicking on the dvdshrink go button either.

    Because the scene groups are in a race to see who can post the release first. If they take to watch it after ripping it, that could slow them down by over two hours and cause them to lose the race.

    If you have rapidshare premium you don’t have to click all the individual links. You use “rapidshare manager” and then all you do is copy and paste the links into it. You just enter your rapidshare login name and password to the program, and it will use your premium account to download. It will download the individual files at the same time so it’s much faster.

    Check this out….. I wake up today and my internet isnt working. Well after talking to my ISP they said that my IP address was sharing “copyrighted material” and I was infringing on it. Now they said it was my first warning so they turned my internet back on. Has anyone else experienced this??????……..

    @212 – I dont use rapid share so i give a rats ass. But, maybe registration with a 24 hour wait period before posts could prevent so many bannings.
