The Office US S04E09 HDTV XviD-LOL

Everyones favourite mockumentary is back on the air! Michael Scott is an astoundingly humorous character, not to mention Dwight Schrute. Those two alone are reasons enough to watch this series. If you haven’t already picked up the previous seasons of the US Office, you have a lot of laughter to catch up on. Get going already! ;)

Edit: The Office US S04E09 720p HDTV X264-DIMENSION has been released. Just watching the video sample of this makes me crack up so badly. Dwight Schrute is a legend.

Pam and Jim find they have run out of excuses and are forced to go to Jan and Michael’s house for dinner. When Andy and Angela are also invited to dinner, Dwight’s jealousy gets the best of him.

“It’s purely carnal and that’s all you need to know”

= line of the season. I choked on my dinner i laughed so hard:)

This episode is what The Office (UK & US) is all about; incredibly uncomfortable moments. It piled it on and those who can’t get that, simply shouldn’t watch. The UK version is a classic make no mistake, but it’s 12 episodes plus the Xmas Special and that’s it. The US version has taken the idea and ran with it and come up with some truly memorable characters that i for one have grown to care about. It deserves every award it gets.

    @ 103, yes.

@ 102, and the thing about the uk version is that they knew that if you draw out a series the quality inevitably falls (see Lost, 24 etc). 12 brilliant episodes and a special beats 4 series of varying quality IMO.

I still think it cannot compete with bbc series.

@Carebear The UK version ended because Ricky Gervais got too lazy to write anymore office episodes, he got a better job (higher paying) on Extras. Which is a funny show, but I don’t think you understand how much funnier Carrell is than Gervais, and the main writer on the US office is B.J Novak (Ryan) and so far his writing has been excelent. The BBC series actually was really dry, I love british shows too Spaced is by far one of my faves of all time I watch the whole thing once a year, but I have never found myself wanting to go back and watch BBC’s Office.

@ 108, whatever Gervais’s motives for stopping production you must admit that it does work as a sort of quality control, ensuring the series doesnt deteriorate.
And perhaps i was a little harsh calling the US verion sh1t, it started promissing but quite a few of the eps ive seen are hit and miss.
You can even see it a bit in the uk version, the second series was not quite as good as the first, because how many dry cringe-worthy moments can you see before it gets old? (several hundred according to the US show)
Oh and i dont think ricky gervais stopped righting through laziness, its because he wanted a legacy of 2 legendary series instead of four ‘good’ ones. (and you honestly thinbk the bbc would have said no to more?? heres a bag of money mr. gervais, go mad…..)

Typical seppo circumcision of quality. We have two brilliant series and two specials of The Office and the yank one’s at four series and still shaming.
Dry humour? We non-Americans don’t understand it? It’s fairly low brow. It’s just targetted at fools and thus we don’t find it funny.
