Group ALLiANCE just brought us the R5 of The X Files movie. Quality is very good, same goes for audio. If you haven’t seen this movie, this is your chance to grab it. I personally haven’t watched it, but I will now with this R5… Judge for yourself by watching the video sample.

Plot: When a group of women are abducted in the wintry hills of rural Virginia, the only clues to their disappearance are the grotesque human remains that begin to turn up in snow banks along the highway. With officials desperate for any lead, a disgraced priest’s questionable visions send local police on a wild goose chase and straight to a bizarre secret medical experiment that may or may not be connected to the women’s disappearance. Its a case right out of The X-Files. But the FBI closed down its investigations into the paranormal years ago. And the best team for the job is ex-agents Fox Mulder and Dr. Dana Scully, who have no desire to revisit their dark past. Still, the truth of these horrific crimes is out there somewhere…and it will take Mulder and Scully to find it!

    i saw this movie in the cinema, i’ve never seen this bad a movie, it litteraly suck and there is zero x-files in it. No unexplainable phenomena or anything, take it from a x-files fan. Dont waste your time and spoil a good image of how xfiles is, cause this one will surely do that.

    To anyone that asked, the Hulk and Iron man both come to DVD this month (september). So do NOT settle for anything but a dvdrip as scene groups tend to try and pass a screener of some sort JUST before dvdrip. Many don’t check but if you see screener months after release check dvd date.

    I agree. I also saw this in cinemas and it was rubbish! Where was the conspiracy that made X-files so popular as a series? There was nothing in it that you couldn’t get from watching Csi or Criminal Intent, and all the other similar shows.

    They were way off base with this film.

    everybody who says this movie isnt like the series has no clue and a liar. there were always two kind of stories in x-files, the alien conspiracy plot, and the random stories. this movie is one of the random stories episodes. and since the first movie was about the alien conspiracy, its logical to go this way. i would have liked to see another alien conspiracy “episode”, but it doesnt mean this one has nothing to do with the x-files.

    SPOILER ALERT:

    “What was the deal with the “don’t give up thing??” again, did you actually watch the movie? that was actually the smartest part of the movie, cause it worked on many levels, it meant dont give up on the missing agent cause he knew or felt it wanst too late, but for scully it meant something else, and thats the point, cause she wanted to believe it meant something else, like mulder with his “i want to believe” attitude. and of course it could also mean, that mulders sister is still alive, cause he said that right after scully told mulder to give up on her sister.

    violence, action? x-files was never about that, but still, the movie had both, more than it perhaps should, a little too much SAW.

    Seriously some of you peeps who pretend to know what x-files are so off, makes me question if you might just have seen a few episodes in a morning rerun…
    i am not an x-files expert, and i stoped watching after mulder left, but even i know what the x-files were about, and what not. its about mistery, suspense, weird stories (and not only aliens and conspiracies, as some of you claim).

    If your an X-Files fan or like creepy movies like me you probally wont like this.There is no alien conspiracy, Mulder and Scully arent on the run anymore, and it doesnt mention anything about the world being invaded by aliens in 2012. Just a stand alone movie. I figured out a new title for this when i was bored as hell sitting in the theater watching this …. THE X_FILES: I WANT TO LEAVE !!! But thanks again to RSLOG you guys are the best as always.

    This is just one example of how RLSLog’s post commentary needs to change. Saying “Quality is very good, same goes for audio” for an R5 is completely meaningless, so much so that you may as well not even bother.

    The FIRST problem is the posters all compare the video for cam to video for dvd, and conclude all cams suck. The Wall-E TS, for example, was excellent, one of the best I have seen in quite some time, but if you compare cams/tss to dvd you have a useless system.

    The SECOND problem is that there is no real description of either the video or the audio. Especially useless is saying the video (from a dvd source) is great, and “same goes” for the audio which (without having seen or heard it, most likely) comes from a recording in the theater. So what does that mean? Describe the video, like does it have a flicker, is it grainy, washed out, clear, dark, etc. Describe the audio like does it sound compressed, holllow, muffled, etc.

    I don’t mean to pick on this author, just wanted to say my peace.

    The DIVORCE scene, is really both these actor’s given the worst possible dialogue EVER!

    The whole movie falls apart with this terrible segment of acting and bad dialogue…

    Also the END CREDIT scene, looks like it was put together by a Uni student, new to AE……..

    Well I dl this and converted it with vso convertxtodvd and it wouldn’t show. It plays well on the computer in xvid format but for some reason won’t play in dvd player in dvd format.
