Wow! A “first” scene copy of second X-Files movie with well know actors duo David Duchovny & Gillian Anderson. Actually LC’s release wasn’t the first one, Celestis group won the race The.X.Files.I.Want.To.Believe.CAM.Xvid-Celestis, but it’s nuked (dupe.frames). Quality… I’ll just say, wait for a better copy. Some good TS from PreVail, mVs mabye… Anyway check the sample(s).

Plot: In grand “X-Files” manner, the film’s storyline is being kept under wraps, known only to top studio brass and the film’s principals. This much can be revealed: The supernatural thriller is a stand-alone story in the tradition of some of the show’s most acclaimed and beloved episodes, and takes the always-complicated relationship between Fox Mulder (Duchovny) and Dana Scully (Anderson) in unexpected directions. Mulder continues his unshakable quest for the truth, and Scully, the passionate, ferociously intelligent physician, remains inextricably tied to Mulder’s pursuits.

    Well it’s a CAM so I didn’t expect all that much and I wasn’t disappointed. Video quality is rubbish.

    Downloaded the first part from Plube, worst audio of any cam ever. Best wait for a better copy unless you can read spanish, because you wont be able to hear/understand what the actors are saying half the time.

    Went to a midnight screening of this and was EXTREMELY disappointed. Me personally I would not recommend seeing this junk. I think my roomate summed it up best when he said, “These guys musta just said, alright lets take everything thats cool about this movie and just throw that right out the window”. It didnt have the feel of X-Files to me at all. Just my opinion. To each their own.

    Only die hard fans filled the theatre in Hong Kong and it was disappointing. A few comments already posted were true. “No X-File Feel”. I feel like giving up the plot so no one will waste their money in the cinemas! I won’t…. but this movie is like one of their poor TV episodes. A lot of other movies can kick this ones arse, not just Batman!

    OMG I am sooo glad my plans were cancelled last minute & I didn’t plunk down $10.50 for this POS! Huge fan! I have every season from beginning to end, back when I actually bought DVD sets @ $150-175 a pop, every doll, all the crap on Ebay related to this series, but BOOO! I don’t know what the hell I just saw? As bad as this copy is, I can tell a dog when I see one! I can’t even believe Chris Carter had a hand in writing this & with Frank Spotnitz no less. It had such a weak weak storyline, & without a worthy villain, or at least one in the same league as the “Smoking Man” William B. Davis, and with no aliens, no conspiracy theories, nothing about their alien-hybrid love child? What do you have left? X-files without aliens or conspiracies is like the NBA without blacks, pizza without cheese, sushi without wasabi! Ok bad analogies but my brain is in a state of shock. I had such high hopes, and nostalgic longing. This movie was just like having bad sex! 1 1/2 hours of awkwardly going at it, with no satisfaction!

    This was very sad. FFS! Just look at this post 9/11 world, conspiracies are almost de rigeur now with youtube & people like Alex Jones waking people out of their stupors! Even my old Grandma smells something fishy in the MSM & believes there’s something deeply wrong in the world, our government! That there’s more going on than we sheep could or should dare to imagine. That’s what made the X-files great, it’s provocative subject matter. With 2012 quickly approaching, old astronauts getting turning chatty Kathy about their “alien” encounters such a rich vein of topical subject matter to mine. There were just so many other directions they could have take with this movie! The public, who is now more than at any other time in history more receptive to conspiracy and they shun it completely, is a conspiracy in and of itself!

    Scully & Mulder had no chemistry, automatons just like they were going thru the motions. On a good note, Gillian Anderson looked remarkably good for her age. Unfortunately, David Duchovny, has lost his “beef cake” appeal, what with the bad hair, he looked a bit old, pudgy and bloated maybe, from a little too much “Californication” perhaps. I don’t know what I just saw but that was not an X-Files movie. I want my money back! Ooo yeah never mind :)

    I agree with most of your arguments about the new movie although I think the chemistry was very good betwen the two lonstanding charaters considering the circumstances. I’m not going to spoil it for those who have not yet have seen the movie but circumstances alter cases which I belive is what is happening between Mulder and Scully.

    but the movie sucks anyway.. and i used to be an x-phile..
