Here’s ORC Again with a DVDSCR for us. This time it’s The Wrestler. Haven’t heard of this movie yet, but it has a nice rating at imdb, so I think it’s quite good. Might check it out some day:) . Video sample included, and I think the quality is not bad:)

Back in the late ’80s, Randy “The Ram” Robinson (Mickey Rourke) was a headlining professional wrestler. Now, 20 years later, he ekes out a living performing for handfuls of diehard wrestling fans in high school gyms and community centers around New Jersey.

Estranged from his daughter (Evan Rachel Wood) and unable to sustain any real relationships, Randy lives for the thrill of the show and the adoration of his fans. However, a heart attack forces him into retirement. As his sense of identity starts to slip away, he begins to evaluate the state of his life—trying to reconnect with his daughter, and strikes up a blossoming romance with an aging stripper (Marisa Tomei). Yet all this cannot compare to the allure of the ring and passion for his art, which threatens to pull Randy “The Ram” back into his world of wrestling.

    @20 Where is it barky….I have checked 4 diff private sites and i still have not seen it. I heard about DEVISE fixing the other one but have not seen the results

    there is a benjamin button dvdscr out by optic weighting in at around 700mb. dont know if its real because i dont mess with torrent due to the fact that they go to slow for me.

    @24 well Torrents work the fastest for me. On a private torrent site i average 1.5 to 1.7 mb download. Its P2P that is slow so i dont bother plus half of them are fake

    Rourke did well in this comeback roll. I gotta recommend it. I think this could be a sleeper film that wins a ton of awards. Download it and you will be happy.

    What a huge disappointment!

    I was expecting it to show more of the grim side of wrestling or to make a powerful statement, but it's just another depressing love story full of the usual sentimental cliches for the critics.

    Underrated?!?! Very good actor?!?!? He was touted as the next Marlon Brando. He has made a lot of bad life choices and that is why he was where he was for so long. Its nice to see that he has been able to resurrect his once broken career (same can't be said for his motorcycle wreak face), but he was in the mire because he was his own worst enemy.

    @108 for rapidshare users there is a tool in the rapidtools menu on the home page called rapidchecker and it lets u copy and paste urls into it and it will verify the url. very efficient against phishing sites. still not the best offense but it is a good defense
