But, simply because it is that good, the games offered here are supposed, as the scene tries to, to serve for testing purposes. I honor that, and buy every single game I’ve downloaded and enjoyed. I can’t speak for the general downloader, because I’m quite sure they download this just because then they don’t have to buy it.

If it was only for the outstanding support you gave the community of TW by bringing a “the game like it should be” version, I would’ve bought this if I had played The Witcher before. Instead I waited for this release, a long time I might add.

I wish the best of luck to CDProjekt, and if there’s ever to be a Witcher 2 of some sort. You have my promise that I will buy it.

To conclude one piece of advise, don’t try to make the people who come here feel guilty, it’s the wrong place.

This “expansion” is a *PATCH*

I’ve seen modders do more work. I’m not saying no work was done here, but honestly… do you have to glorify yourself like that? if this is just about the size of your penis then I can end this discussion pretty quick when I download your stupid game that i already played in the first place. Why would I play through the same story for a second time? Oh wait, I know… to tick you off!!!

All you know it. The more unofficial copies, the less support for PC Games. And it is visible. Less and less big games appearing. We’re not exception. All publishers want us to make TW on consoles. We prefer PCs. But the hell, no matter how much we like PC and how stubborn we are we need to survive…

To all playing stolen copies. I know you will have nice 60h+ gameplay experience. But I wish you just this small bad feeling that you did a wrong thing. If it spoils the fun, I don’t know. For me it would.

by the way, this is to the people who’s not testing the cracks. there are two patched witcher.exe files, one, whose still hold the original cdprojeckt stamp, and that according to virustotal has only one suspicious entry on it. and the other one who has no stamp ( you can check in the DETAILS tab, under the properties of the file ) which has this results…

so i was thinking, since both cracks, are there to remove the protection of the game, maybe both of then would work on any version ( tdm / skidrow )… but maybe not, the could really be different despite the protection scheme involved, supposedly have been removed…

are you sure calli? i was under the impression that you could not complete the patching of the game from version 1.x to 1.4, via de 900+mb patch, if you were not a registered user…

does the patch requires a registered account / serial number or not ???

otherwise i am sure everyone here would ( maybe ) prefer this route instead of downloading a 9gb / 12 gb monster, at least imo since i don’t own a RS account or the like…
