The Witcher Enhanced Edition DVD9-TDM
I know i’m a bit late with posting this, and since no other editor seems to care about it i’ll just do it anyway. It’s a release by TDM: The Witcher: Enhanced Edition. I have no idea wether this game is OK or not, however just by seeing the screens I think I can say it looks to be quite OK. Oh, btw: this game is BIG.
The Witcher: Enhanced Edition is the ultimate version of the ultimate role-playing game. Fantastic game, highly recommended. Although I’m not sure enough has changed in this version for me to play through it again, but for anyone who hasn’t, this is one of the best RPG’s I’ve played in a while. The only odd thing is the sidequest to bed as many women as you can. Well, perhaps this part is realism.

you have to register your game online (The Witcher standart edition, released last year) for installing the patch 1.4
This was probably the best rpg I’ve played for like 10 years or more. A lot of choices have real dire consequences you had no idea would happen, combat is very simple but fun and the combat animations and decapitations all look awesome. Story is great and the main guy you control (Geralt) is incredibly badass.
CDProjekt is also a very good developer. They checked all comments and media reviews and went back to the drawing table and recorded a billion new lines and animations to make the game even deeper and fixed a lot of issues that were plaguing the game at release like long loading times. They also added 2 free adventures. This is pretty much the only dev that has done this ever. It’s a huge free patch instead of some expansion that they try to milk people out on.
CDProjekt seem like really good guys that care about games, they’re also starting some steam-like service named good old games (gog.com). So If you can and like the game, support them please!
well we need a cracked version of the registrration whatever thingy, if we had bought the bloody good game whats the poing in visiting RLSLOG yeah, then we’d just go to the official site and download the 1.4 patch. now we need either a cracked 1.4 patch or rapidshare links for the Enhanced version, which i beleieve does not suffer from registration/activation issues.

Don’t hold your breath on a rip of this hgik. The whole point of the enhanced edition is to add a bunch of new geeky stuff for fans. The “rip” you’re talking about would basically just be the standard edition which has been available for over a year. Which is still probably a 7 or 8 gig download. But it’s worth it for such a deep game.

People have a range of different motives in play when they do anything. Someone likes this game and chooses to buy it that is his/her business but they don’t get the right to tell others what to do.

I was considering buying this then I remembered Poland is just as busy killing Iraqis as other countries whose goods I refuse to pay for until they stop their murdering ways.

I already have the Clone DVD PLATiN Release (6,44 GB) of the original Witcher… I’m not experienced with torrents, but it looks like there also “upgrade-only” packs for download and therefore it would not be necessary to download the whole new enhanced thing (12 GB), rather than just the “enhanced upgrade patch”…

For whoever asked. This is using the Aurora engine that Neverwinter Nights used but incredibly heavily modified.
For those that liked it and wanted to buy this but lacked cash you could always buy the original version, it’s like 15 bucks now, you’ll get to download the patch and stuff for free anyway to upgrade to EE so the only thing you miss out on is the exclusive stuff in the EE box like guidebook and uhhh other stuff.

Really good game, but not great.
The worst thing in the original game were the awful dialogues. Very often they don’t make sense. Maybe this is better in this version. It looks like they knew of this errors.
The Alchemy was already badly executed. But i played a warrior so it wasn’t a big deal.

cracking the original version is a pain in the a55, i’ll just buy the damn thing
from the unleashed .nfo
- Unpack the release with WinRAR or equivalent
- Mount image with laters Daemon Tools and install the game
- Make sure emulation RMPS is – enabled in Daemon Tools
- Play and Enjoy :>

Something like this does not happened ever before unless its a morp but ok. But this is a deep RPG game with real time combat..
Mostly Developers release there game on the market and fix tiny bugs in the game in path releases and maybe like 2 years later release the remake version… But this is not the case here this Developer listen to there reviews and players gone back to the game and patch up the game for free! And re release it in stores with lots of extras for a price that is unheard of in this hard times…

Mr.developer, quit the QQ.
Your own website shows The Wither sold over 800k copies. That makes $40 million dollars at $50 a pop. If even half of that went to expenses, you still made $20 million. The patches and content for the “enhanced” version, while a nice thing to do, did not cost you anywhere near $20 million.
So if the people who didn’t buy your game are going to cause you to not make more games when the ones who did already made you millionaires, feel free. There are other developers waiting in the wings to take your spot.

are you sure calli? i was under the impression that you could not complete the patching of the game from version 1.x to 1.4, via de 900+mb patch, if you were not a registered user…
does the patch requires a registered account / serial number or not ???
otherwise i am sure everyone here would ( maybe ) prefer this route instead of downloading a 9gb / 12 gb monster, at least imo since i don’t own a RS account or the like…

by the way, this is to the people who’s not testing the cracks. there are two patched witcher.exe files, one, whose still hold the original cdprojeckt stamp, and that according to virustotal has only one suspicious entry on it. and the other one who has no stamp ( you can check in the DETAILS tab, under the properties of the file ) which has this results…

so i was thinking, since both cracks, are there to remove the protection of the game, maybe both of then would work on any version ( tdm / skidrow )… but maybe not, the could really be different despite the protection scheme involved, supposedly have been removed…

A customer -> I’d love that your calculation were right. Unfortunately they’re not. Devs get 4-8% from SRP price. I’m not sure if we already covered costs of development of TW.
All you know it. The more unofficial copies, the less support for PC Games. And it is visible. Less and less big games appearing. We’re not exception. All publishers want us to make TW on consoles. We prefer PCs. But the hell, no matter how much we like PC and how stubborn we are we need to survive…
To all playing stolen copies. I know you will have nice 60h+ gameplay experience. But I wish you just this small bad feeling that you did a wrong thing. If it spoils the fun, I don’t know. For me it would.

what are you stupid or something? Console games are EASIER to get and play than PC games are. PC games arent for dumb people. Thats why you got all these dumb questions all of the time if you havent noticed. With a console you dont even have to do anything at all. You can just download it straight to a harddrive and store them all there without worrying about anything at all. Since it is a console you dont have to worry about patches either. so go for it TOUGH GUY, show us how much of a fascist you are before we wipe you off the face of the earth.

After downloading 12 GB of crap I now found out it doesn’t work! Neither of those 3 cracks work!
And Mike, so far I’ve truly enjoyed this game. It was a sleeper hit, it still is.
But, simply because it is that good, the games offered here are supposed, as the scene tries to, to serve for testing purposes. I honor that, and buy every single game I’ve downloaded and enjoyed. I can’t speak for the general downloader, because I’m quite sure they download this just because then they don’t have to buy it.
If it was only for the outstanding support you gave the community of TW by bringing a “the game like it should be” version, I would’ve bought this if I had played The Witcher before. Instead I waited for this release, a long time I might add.
I wish the best of luck to CDProjekt, and if there’s ever to be a Witcher 2 of some sort. You have my promise that I will buy it.
To conclude one piece of advise, don’t try to make the people who come here feel guilty, it’s the wrong place.
