Now I have a very high rating foreign movie for you. “The White Ribbon” is a 2009 black and white drama written and directed by Austrian filmmaker Michael Haneke. The story darkly depicts society and family in a northern German village just before World War I. According to Haneke, the film is about “the origin of every type of terrorism, be it of political or religious nature.” This is 2CD BDRip released by group HLS. Audio is in German and Italian, subtitle included.

PLOT: In a remote fishing town, happily married Rob and Jess have been trying to have a baby for three long years and she is becoming desperate. In a drunken mistake, she sleeps with Evan, a young stranger come to town whose interest in her borders on the obsessive. The day she discovers she is pregnant, Jess’ guilt turns to horror as Evan begins a terrifying transformation from stalker to psychopath, determined to prove paternity of the child and claim Jess for his own. In the vein of Fatal Attraction and Cape Fear, Coffin Rock is a story of infidelity, leading to harassment, terror and murder.

    Can anyone help me. I cant get the subtitles to work with the film the put the Subtitle A with Film A but it doesn’t work please help?

    ok if you had the titles correct both avi and subtitles (exactly the same in the same folder) then it might be the problem to the subtitle. I have noticed that also myself at some subtitles, dont know why but they just not suitable with the avi. Just try to find another subtitle, or with “subtitle workshop” (software) try to convert the subtitle to another form, for example if it is .srt transform it in to .sub. With that way it might work ;)

    LMAO whoever posts this crap on your site is clueless.

    Correct synopsis should read: Strange events happen in a small village in the north of Germany during the years just before World War I, which seem to be ritual punishment. The abused and suppressed children of the villagers seem to be at the heart of this mystery.

    Movie wasn’t that great .. at most it was an interesting look at life and class on a pre WWI German estate.
