The Wendell Baker Story 2005 UNRATED LIMITED DVDRip XviD-SAVIOR
A slightly older comedy with Luke Wilson and Eva Mendes in the main roles appeared few hours ago on the scene: The Wendell Baker Story released by group SAVIOR. This isn’t exactly a good example of a critically acclaimed movie, but it hasn’t ranked that bad and there are quite a few funny scenes (apart from one very hot chick). The unrated version brings in additional 5 minutes of footage, which still fits on 1 CD.
Luke Wilson writes and directs (along with his brother, Andrew Wilson) this comedy about a former conman with a heart of gold. Wendell has a way with people, but fails to make the most of his charms, making his money by selling fake ID cards to illegal Mexican immigrants with the help of his partner-in-crime Reyes (Jacob Vargas). When this scam inevitably fails, Wendell Baker is off to jail, where he quickly becomes popular and gets parole. Having had some time to think, Wendell eventually emerges from prison a new man, eager to win back the love (Eva Mendes) he previously took for granted, and who has moved on to a grocery store manager (Will Ferrell).

Weird as hell, I just searched for and downloaded this last night. The copy from 2005.
i swear i just saw a preview for this on the tube the other day!? hmmm didnt know it was an older movie, but gonna check it out for sure, filmed in my home town of Austin TX whoohoo! now all you ignorant people that think we ride horses down here can see whats really goin on haha
this movie didnt get the greatest ratings on IMDB but worth a check

I enjoyed it when I watched it last year. I like Luke Wilson movies though so that might be why.
the movie is from 2005, but didnt come out in theaters until this year (im assuming it was extremely limited as i dont remember any commercials or it playing anywhere), and is just now being released to dvd

UNRATED doesn’t necessarily mean its more violent or sexually explicit it just means the print never went or was passed by a regulatory board, like the MPAA.. in fact the Planet Terror DVD release was label unrated despite the fact that it was the same cut that appeared in the R rated cut of Grindhouse…
