The Used – Lies For The Liars (2007)
Rock band from Utah The Used are set to release their third studio album “Lies For The Liars” in three days time, 22nd of May. The quality of this release should be good as it’s coming from group FNT. I don’t know much about this band as i’ve never heard of them before but maybe some of you out here have, still i’ll probably check their album out.
The Used have finished recording their new album Lies for the Liars and will release it on May 22, 2007. Early on in the recording of the new album, drummer Branden Steineckert was kicked out of the band and he now plays with Rancid. Dean Butterworth of Good Charlotte filled in as a temporary drummer and recorded most of the drums on this album. Dan Whitesides was then announced as the official new drummer and toured with The Used of the 2007 Taste of Chaos tour. This album will feature songs that they have been playing on the 2007 Taste of Chaos tour including the two singles from Lies for the Liars, “The Bird and the Worm” and “Liar, Liar (Burn in Hell)” respectively, and other songs such as “Hospital”, “Find a Way” and “Pretty Handsome Awkward”. Due to the number of songs they have written, they plan to release an EP in the winter.
The Used will also be playing the Main Stage at the Carling Weekend: Reading and Leeds Festivals in August for the first time in four years. On May 17, the album was released on the band’s MySpace profile.

none of the new Used albums are as good as there first album self titled “the used”, this one is not good as far as the few songs i heard.. but i’ll hear the full album before i judge

“The Used” album is awesome…the one efter is alright, a little pop faggy…this one I have not heard but one single, and it is pop shit to the top. They got overproduced by jews so they can make more money selling to the mass of fucking retards that enjoys shit.

Yeah I agree, I love their first album, but they went really shit and overly ‘emo’ with the second album, they lost the rawness and edginess….Shame…
I have a question about the favorite kind of music of the rlslog posters. I believe they all love rock, I think. I don’t see a lot of dance/trance/house albums here. I love it to see it more here. But keep up the good work guys.
Album labeled as Alt Rock but nothing alternative about the music. Sounds more like pop rock music by good charlotte and all-american rejects.
