Finally I have a History Channel documentary that I can post about. The Universe is a rather popular TV series and it entered its 3rd season last week. Unfortunately, there has been no XviD release of it yet, no idea why either FQM or aAF didn’t cap it, but for now DHD pre’d it in awesome HD quality. The universe is big and you can never know everything, expand your horizons with an episode along the lines of “Houston, we have a problem!”…

Update: Xvid version was only released today after the 720p version that was released a few days ago, so instead of making a new post ill just add it to this one and move this post to the top, enjoy.

In space travel there is a saying that the first 50 miles and the last 50 miles
are the most dangerous. Explore the controlled explosion of launch, the fiery crucible of reentry and everything in between.     It looks like a good release. However, you’ll have better luck betting the lotto than finding a “real” download link of any kind of documentary here. I’m still waiting for a working download link/torrent/newsgroup for either of the airline documentaries from National Geographic posted a month ago. Good luck even finding a torrent or a newsgroup posting for this.

    Why does it say in the description that the sound is CBR AC3?

    There is no such thing as VBR AC3, is there? :S

    Some people may not be aware that AC3 is always CBR. They may be used to see VBR/CBR next to MP3 so I include it.

    @3, all the previous universe episodes were available in torrent form.

    This is a great series. It tackles the biggest topic known to mankind. Hopefully a torrent will be up soon.

    I do, havn’t you noticed that most of the downloads are xvid/divx? I mean mkv files are relatively rare in comparision to xvid and there is a reason why.

    I personally have 42′ tv hooked to the computer, so fo me HD rocks.
    But back in the day, when using my 19′ monitor, there were no REAL difference between HD & xvid. So I understand both sides.
    But … HD rocks.
