The Universe S01E05 WS DSR XviD-SYS

It is so close – for thousands of years man has found comfort in its presence. It’s been a beacon for nocturnal travelers a time keeper for farmers, and a location finder for sailers at sea. For some culture, it’s even been a god. It’s the only cosmic body visited by Human Beings. And today, NASA is planning a permanent outpost there. But how did it get there in the first place ? How did the moon come to be. The answer is more astounding and spectacular than most residents of Earth have ever imagined.

On the fifth episode of the very entertaining show about the Universe, it teaches us about our terrestial moon and other moons around our solar system. Our moon is by no means the largest in our solar system, but it is the biggest in relation to its host planet. To be exact it is about 1/4 the size of the Earth. I have not covered all the episodes of this great series, so their respective torrent downloads are located below.

The moon has comforted man for thousands of years. It’s been everything from a god to a compass, and the only cosmic body human beings have ever visited. NASA is planning to build a permanent outpost there. Discover how the moon came to be–if you don’t already know, you will be astounded.

Excellent series! Some scary threats in previous episodes too, there’s more than just rocks out there. Makes me wonder why we’re still not building a starting base on the moon…

lol, strike last comment. Just watched the latest ep and found out they’re going to get a base on the moon (pretty much the first sentence of the ep).
