Here is the final episode of Ultimate Fighter season five. The finale was held at the Palms Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada on June 23, 2007. Some interesting things to know before you watch: Marlon Sims and Noad Thomas aren’t expected to fight in the UFC due to breaking rules in the UFC house. Corey Hill was originally scheduled to fight Allen Berube, but had to withdraw due to injury. Brandon Melendez, weighing in at 157 lb, failed to make weight for his fight against Joe Lauzon. He came within one pound of the 156 pound limit; however, doctors advised him not to continue in the interest of his health. The fight continued as planned, but Melendez was fined 10 percent of his fight purse. I will be watching this later, and I’m sure it will be pretty exciting so enjoy for all the MMA fans reading rlslog.
The finals are set! Teammates Manny Gamburyan and Nate Diaz will face off in the Octagon to see who truly is the Ultimate Fighter. The coaches Penn vs Pulver and more!
