It would not be the USA. The USA is most likely to BE the country attacking or invading. It is 2.5 years since this release came out and inspired all of these comments. How many countries is the USA presently occupying, much like Germany did to France? Is it 3, 5, or 6 now. I lost count a while back. The USA is the new invading force of the 21st century.

I was amused by that other comment about how the world swings from the jock of the USA. Residual fluids? The world has been f***ed by the USA. Nice metaphor.

You are kidding – r'nt u? True the US has a big army, but most of the troops don't want to be there, after 3 tours in Iraq/Afghanistan. Why is it (if the US Army is so great) there are so few troops that they have to be constantly recycled – could it be that this is not seen as a good scene? That may change when unemployment, post the "Greed is Good" recession, hits.
Most countries have stopped supporting the US initiative anyway – 2 reasons: Afghanistan is a lost war and working with the US is a hazard (greater than the Taliban?)- you can end up as 'collateral damage'. Anybody whose airforce can shoot up an armoured column flying 3mx2m flags in the colours of your allies has got to be suspect (it happened in Iraq – a number of soldiers were killed by 'friendly fire' – with friends like that who needs enemies?)
Sadly my country (Oz) still supports the US 'effort'- just lost our 8th casualty – small bikkies by US and UK standards (who have lost hundreds)but the Aust'n contingent is also small. It is questionable whether the govt will sustain popular support for the war – we kicked the last mob out (much to their complacent surprise) we can do it again – trouble is we would get the other bunch of losers back!! – bit like the US we only have two viable parties, so it is a choice of bad or worse.

The USA gets 60% of their imported oil from Canada, as well as their grains, fish, lumber, hydro etc. Canada provides power to California during the daytime and, as California cannot shut down their Nuclear generators at night, Canada shuts the hydro dams and buys the wasted electricity from California.

The USA is a nation of imports, not exports, and is 100% relianct on the rest of the world in order to function from day to day.

Get an education, study history, but do it a long way from the American propaganda machine and you just may have hope.

This has been great fun to read but let us not forget that the Yanks have also introduced some new words to the English language one of which you will hear every time an American opens their mouth………….Awesome…..A word which I for one would use to describe a Mountain or an Ocean or even the Grand Canyon but they use it to describe anything from a hamburger to a film which is where this whole stupid debate began

The only reason why anyone hates America is because they think they are better then everyone else. As is proven above by about 20 different people. Every government makes mistakes whether they be minor or major. It is truly sad when an entire country of people just sits back and says everything we do IS right and ALWAYS will be right because we are AMERICA and nothing we have ever done is wrong look at ww2. Do you know what that sounds like to me?? anyone?? that sounds not one syllable different then what muslims do about their religion they are never wrong and everyone else is.

And to all you toughies that think the US could take Canada in a military conflict look at the outcome of the last time you brought your army here and the CIVILIANS kicked you a$$e$ the F out and burnt your white house but you people dont get taught that in school because AMERICA IS THE BEST!!!!!! the best at being the butt of every racist or religious joke around the fing world.

You must have learned your history in a typical Yank school too. Here's the truth about US starting war with North Vietnam:
Just like Bush, in August, 1964 Johnson lied to the people to get involved. The US got involved in Vietnam because they wanted to stop the spread of communism (domino theory), and after France left Vietnam after being defeated in the battle of Dien Bien Phu, and the Haiphong incident, the US felt they needed to take matters into their hands. Following the Eisenhower and Kennedy administrations, President Lyndon B. Johnson also believed in containment and the domino theory. If one nation falls to communism, the next nation will fall, and the next, etc.
During the Cold War of the 1950s and 60s, the aim of the US government was containment of communist power and not to let it spread. The Eisenhower administration provided South Vietnam with money and advisors to help stop the threat of a North Vietnamese takeover. The United States also was pledged by treaty (SEATO) to aid the member nations in southeast Asia, if they were attacked by a foreign (communist) power.It became the aim of the Johnson administration to prevent a communist takeover in Southeast Asia.
In August, 1964, President Johnson reported to the nation that American ships had been attacked by North Vietnam gunboats in the Gulf of Tonkin, in international waters. The Congress passed the Gulf of Tonkin Resolution giving the President the power to use whatever force necessary to protect our interests in the area.

At the time, the truth was not reported. Rather than being on a routine patrol Aug. 2, the US destroyer Maddox was actually engaged in aggressive intelligence-gathering maneuvers in sync with coordinated attacks on North Vietnam by the South Vietnamese navy and the Laotian air force.
