    “…in all it’s high-definition gory…ahem…glory”

    Has the reviewer even seen the film? There’s barely any gore in this horror classic. One tiny scene, everything else happens offscreen.

    @2 slang:

    I’m not a reviewer, but to say that nothing nasty happens in this movie is just plain wrong. Look up info about all the problems with ratings that it had initially…

    There is very little gore in this fantastic movie, that is undeniable.
    It was banned due to the overly long scenes of a women being chased, emotionaly tortured and in distress.
    I love it when people talk about things they have no idea about yet insist they are right.

    This movie is a classic if you understand it isn’t torture on your eyes but torture on your mind, if you haven’t seen it ix, give it a try.

    Off topic, but still on: I don’t have bluray, but I do have apple tv. does anyone know how to get one of these bluray vids onto apple tv? I tried using quicktime pro -> Mp4, but the video stalls after the first 2 seconds.

    Sorry, but these old (horror) films have aged BADLY.

    Sorry to ask, but these hdrips, how they works, I can burn on a normal DVD and play in a normal DVD Player?
    And this comes with extras, or only the film?

    Tanx!

    @12 No, the DVD players can’t read this type of files. An no, they came without extras. But the HD quality is by far better than a DVD. Try it.

    You can play it on your PC if you have connected it to the TV, or you can transfer it to the PS3.

    Don’t listen to those who tell you to trade in your Ferrari for a Fiat. Just get Visual Hub. It’s an amazing little program that I’ve been using on HD movies for a year now. It’s got a great Apple TV 5.1 function. Welcome to the future.

    Ok.. Why keep announcing releases that are only available as a torrent on a private tracker that isnt allowing signups? Waste of time!

    It’s weird that this has DTS sound considering it was originally made with a mono soundtrack.
