Here is “The Surfer King”, comedy movie, released by JFKXVID. Didn’t saw this one, but according to IMDB it’s “worth” to download & watch it. Yeah, right 7.4/10 score based on 27 votes, so we can “trust em”. Probably some guys from filming team rated it. On RT there’s no rating at all (yet). But hey, it’s free, so for those ones who have unlimited bandwidth nothing cost to download it. After all, if nothing else, theres nice chicks in the movie. 
Plot: Seventeen-year old Robbie Zirpollo (Randy Wayne) has a problem. As the film opens, his mother (Lindsay Wagner) is driving him to his new summer job. We learn that Robbie has grown up in Oceanside, California, but now he and his mother have moved to Colorado for a fresh start, as his father has taken the family’s savings and his secretary to Mexico. Robbie’s mom has, through an uncle, gotten him a summer job at Water World on the grounds crew. The adventure begins when Robbie meets Alex (Ben Ziff) and gets moved to Aokee’s (Gabriel Iglesias) Surf & Snack shack to work. Alex convinces Robbie to enter the park’s “Employee Olympics” to bring the Surfer King trophy to it’s rightful place among the concessions crew. Tiffany (Cerina Vincent), the park owner’s daughter, has other ideas for Robbie.

that “fat guy” is gabriel iglesias, a very funny stand up comedian, and thanks to that screen alone, i’m considering getting this one, something i otherwise wouldn’t do, considering the rest of the cast or the 27 imdb voters lol

Who said Gabriel Iglesias is funny? needs to go stop that right now..any fat guy who cracks on his weight to get laughs is sad.
plus he is not even funny…go look him up on youtube.com hit the first video you see and you tell me…

I did exactly what you suggested and I’m glad I did! I find him very funny(no I’m not high)…but humor is varies widely between individuals though so it’s all good!
I will say this, he uses the whole “5 levels of fatness” joke on every show and that gets a little tiresome. Course the reason he does that is to introduce other amusing (and not always the same) comments and jokes.
Course one of these days I’m going to have to try your openminded suggestion and break out the bongs and watch him…..probably be even funnier…

You may try that one, or it can be a hdd or software problem ( extremely unlikely but ok )
Turned out to be a bad hard-drive bummer
This is like an Workprint of a TV Pilot, but for example.
There is a 3 minute scene where the two side characters are discussing the heroes surfin and only one is audible, the other is doing that exagerated rhubarb rhubarb pretending to talk thing but they didn’t have any recording of hum talking so only one guy had audio. And they left it in!. Also the babe is ugly in hollywood terms and the main actor can’t act. These kind of things happen a lot in the movie.
A fun 90 minute TV Pilot episode that never got picked up is the best I can say about this.

Extra, you know those montage bits from movies where they cover a competition or event that is a a sideline to the plot. In this movie they play the whole thing without the montage element and no acting involved so it lasts 20 minutes without a break from the terrible film.
This movie could be a classic “so bad it’s good” film. If it had some kind plot but it’s just bad.
I very much have to agree with everyone that said this movie was bad…horrible acting (except Iglesias of course as he is an actor), it kinda reminded me of Caddyshack only without the humor (sorry to everyone that liked Caddyshack, I thought it was absolutely horrible with the only saving grace being the occasional funny from Bill Murray).
Sad, oh well, better luck next time Gabriel. Best not to mention you were in this movie……

This is an awful movie. The only way it got a 7.1 on IMDB is probably because the cast and director voted for it. This was supposed to be a comedy, but it was so unfunny. I give it a 1 star.
