The Spectacular Spider-Man picks up the original web-slinger’s mythology at the beginning of his hero’s journey, as a not so typical 16-year-old entering his junior year of high school. Having spent the summer engaging common criminals with his new-found powers, Peter Parker must conceal his secret identity and battle super-villains in the real world.     Best Animated Spidey since the 90's. Funny, diverse, good narrative and quite scary when it has Venom in it and spidey REALLY takes a beating.

    no, this show sucks worse than most spiderman series– the worst offense of all is the animation, which looks like it was done by a kindergarten grade class, not to mention its awful unbelievable characterizations for most people, and especially for peter, who is a totally inconsiderate dumbass (with obviously forced motivations) in this version of the series.

    The best thing this show has going for it is the blend of story AND animation. The work done is top notch, you'd have to be a complete an utter moron to think otherwise.
