The Sims Carnival BumperBlast-ViTALiTY

Electronic Arts obviously try to digg even more money from The Sims brand as they release The Sims Carnival BumperBlast, an another arcade title with The Sims theme, which should be rather released as a freeware. You had a chance to download a SimCity/Tycoon clone called Snapcity recently, and this game is quite similar in terms of quality, just being a modded pinball instead.

This casual shooter that shares a tenuous bond with the Sims franchise lets gamers blast away at sliding bumpers through more than 140 levels. Players must use a certain allotment of shots to clear out all the Sims bumpers, taking care to avoid traps like black holes and mastering skill shots, combos, and bonuses along the way. Two separate game modes let players earn 24 different trophies, and gamers can complete levels with bronze, silver, gold, and diamond scores, with diamond scores unlocking bonus levels.

Game features:

  • Take aim at more than 140 action-packed levels, scoring high to earn and display 24 special trophies.
  • Jump into Quick Play or test your skills in Campaign mode.
  • Discover power-ups and portals but avoid the dangerous black holes.
  • Track your progress on the Medal Meter and Achieve Bronze, Silver, Gold, or Diamond scores.
  • Complete all regular levels with Diamond scores to unlock Bonus levels!

In 2010 the sims network of aplications grew covering most of the globe…

By 2012 it had developed full artificial intelligence and gained command of the worlds military networks..

The following years saw the begining of a new war, man against cybernetic organisms known as SIMinators..

(dah dah dah da da… da dah da da da)

I don’t care for this particular game, but that was a good itea of using a YouTube video so we can see a preview of the game. You should do this for all games! Maybe movies, too.

Stop whining… They’re just casual, yet fun games.
I did enjoy the Snapcity game. Quite fun to play when you’re bored and want a couple of minutes of entertainement.

  10. January 14th, 2008 | 15:30

the problem is they force people to pay 20 bucks for couple of minutes of entertainment

Looks like a Peggle clone rather than a pinball clone.

Don’t change the extensions dummy. Doesn’t your computer tell you not to? You can extract these only if you have WinRAR installed (its free and legal). Once you have WinRAR installed, just right click on anyone of the files and press one of the extract options (Extract here, extract to, etc.)

  19. raual
    January 15th, 2008 | 01:26

winrar does not have the extract to option for .001 .0## .etc files. Just double click on the .001 file then when it opens in winrar click the Extract button without clicking on anything in the open window(if you do it will only extract what you click on) I told a guy the save thing that @18 did and got told back up and down, left and right that it did not work, so I tried it myself and found out he was right. go tell. hmmmm.

@martin: Nobody forces ppl to buy crappy arcades for 20 buxx m8. Reflexive and Gamehouse among others have made a career by distributing titles like this one. Of course while they ‘re at it years now ,they have spinned off modern classics like Bejeweled,Ricochet,SuperCollapse and modern software versions of all well known table games like Monopoly,Yahtzee,Risk etc. So when a title from Reflexive costs 19.99 for a downloadable version, its only justifiable for this ‘lil game to retail 20 buxx alright while just for bearing the Sims title could very well retail for 39 as well (lol).
One other thing is many ppl like these small games.Stop ignoring them by proposing that smaller games are inferior to multibux productions. Not everybody who wants to play is fps hungry m8. Cheers.

I love this game, been playing it for a week straight. much better than that COD4 stupid crap shooting people (like that doesnt get old quick) or anyother game where you see a gun in front of you. those stupid shoot people games feel like you are a gun walking around, you dont even get to see your character. where as this game will never be the same twice. awesome release brotha, keep games liek this coming.
