The Sims 3 Riverview Addon-BAT
Scene group BAT which releases mostly RIPs, Patches and Add-ons pred a new expansion for super popular The Sims 3. Riverview is the name of a whole new bonus city which will be enabled after installing this 72 MB addon. It’s normally free for owners of original game, but I guess most of you play the cracked one so here it is for you as well. Be sure to read NFO for installation instructions.
Riverview offers up its own adventures to uncover. On our first runaround the town we discovered an abandoned and boarded up mine entrance on the outskirts as town, as well as a fish farm that’s perfect if your sims like to go fishing. The miniature Stonehenge on a small island in the river is perfect to get away from everything, though we haven’t figured out how to interact with it yet; is it a place for pagan rituals or just a nice spot for sims to make out?

EA is really becoming annoying with Sims and expansions.

INSTALLATION:
1. UnRAR the downloaded files.
2. Drag the file into (My Documents/ Electronic Arts/ The Sims 3/ Download).
3. Open The Sims 3 Launcher, via Program Files or opening a .Sims3Pack file (which you just downloaded)
4. The Sims™ 3 Laucher will appear (Those with Razor + RELOADED versions, this won't affect your game).
5. In the download tab on the Launcher, select the files you wish to upload on your Sims 3 (for multiple files).
6. A splash screen will appear, uploading your selected file. This will notify you when completed.

I downloaded a torrent from demonoid yesterday that had all the Sims 3 store items, and Riverview (51 files). It all installed just fine on Reloaded's release.
Riverview is more of a farmland community, with pretty much all the same stores, community buildings, etc., as the other town. Lots of fishing all along the river, but they are not mark with fishing spots, just have to find the fish which isn't very hard to do.

have u got the reloaded version of the sims or razor version.
I initially downloaded the reloaded version and have updated using the "reloaded to razor sims 3" update (700mb)
downloaded with bitcomet from thepiratebay (I could not find a http link to save the hassle of using torrents).
This changes the sims 3 reloaded "beta" version to the "retail" version.
doing so i have not yet had any problems with the content downloads from my above post.

@Angela, don't worry about it. A few days after the leak, EA made that message show up to anyone who used the Launcher (which, we have to, to install content). It doesn't effect gameplay and as far as I know, it doesn't do much else other than let you know you'll get free points if you buy the real game.
I never disconnect the net when I install stuff or play the game and nothing has ever happened. If you're unsure though, just disconnect the internet when you install content, as a safety precaution.

Tom U, thanks for the advice about the "reloaded to razor" download. I got it on bit torrents and it works perfectly. I also no longer get the warning in the launcher about having an illegal version.

This is a simple mod to unlock the hidden special traits that you're supposed to get for being related to service NPCs. Now you can choose them in CAS and using the cheat.
Unlocked traits:
Physical
Pyromaniac – Ignite random things around you
Immune to Fire – Sim becomes fireproof
Makes No Messes – Sim will not make any mess
Mental:
Burglar – Sneak anywhere
Can apprehend Burglar – Should be able to apprehend burglars
Can Salute – "Salute" appears under Friendly pie menu
Pizza Appreciator – More positive mood points for eating pizza
Rocker – Natural feeling of rock-stardom

@52 if u mean The Exchange then look @ this post "Go on the exchange page (thesims3.com/exchange) and look for whatever you want to download. Then mouse over the "add to game" button and look for the target url or you can rightclick-> properties. You want the assetId number example:('download','3545'). Then in your browser url, type in sims3://download/?assetId=3545, change 3545 to whatever assetId you want." it works i tried it,i launched the game launcher and then did as the post says and it's done

Right-click on the Resource.cfg file on your Desktop and choose Cut.
Then click on Start – My Computer.
Navigate to C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3 This is the main folder for The Sims 3, called the "root folder"
Right-click in an empty space in the root folder and choose Paste. The Resource.cfg file should appear there.
Select the .package file(s) you've downloaded after extracting. Right-click and choose Cut.
Then click on Start – My Computer. Navigate to C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\ – the Sims 3 root folder.
Right-click in an empty space in that folder, and create a New Folder. Name this folder Mods and then open it. You're now in C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Mods

@61, dude, that doesnt work. I pasted on my firefox and it launches the Sims 3 launcher to install an unknown 1kB file. EA probably found out and went to fixed this bug.

As far as we know, no, there's no way of installing content from Sims 2. I wish we could.

That Resource file is for if you ever want to download custom content *created* by other people (like, from Mod The Sims or something).
If you're downloading official items, you don't need to download that file.

Hey I get that too, but you can still play the game. Go up to a few posts you'll see the rapidshare file for riverview that Blue posted. Just instal those and that's it. you'll still get that mesage but you can still play. the onliy thing is that you won't get the 1000 sim points, but who really need those? you'll still b able to play in riverview and have all that the town has to offer.

1º copy & paste of the files to the folder of the game, (usualy "C:\Users\NomeDoUser\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads").
2º Open Sims 3 Launcher and go to Downloads.
3º Click on "select all" and next "Instal".

anything on Sims3_1.0.632 update? When I try to install, I get a region error! I'm running the Sims3 Final Multi v1.0.631.00002!

I can install all the store items except for the riverview.Its keep appear an error ‘failed:software update and bla bla bla..’. Can someone help me?? I am using illegal sims 3 with 1.4 version
