    I only have a 2.0ghz processor on Vista. All other requirements are fine? Will this game run at all? I don't mind even if it's slow? I really want this game but won't buy it if it doesn't work.

    This game works perfectly!!!! AND IT'S NOT ONLY IN ENGLISH! THAT'S GRAET! Have been playing the older sims games in danish, and now I can play the new one in danish too! Perfect! :D THANKS RELOADED! ;)

    This version actually works on the Mac too – you just have to go into package contents, navigate into the transgaming folder, and replace the exe as normal.

    I've installed and the GF has been playing for hours. It doesn't appear to be a beta but I don't think it is the final retail version because there only appears to be one neighborhood and the is no what of changing it. Although, knowing EA it may be something they are holding back until an expansion.

    yeah its not the real game only one level and you cannot edit neighborhoods. cannot build own neighborhood. minimal amounts of objects to buy, no deaths, cant kill sims, cant build large lots, etc…

    this is just a demo they are releasing.

    Those links are completely genuine. They're not mine but I had absolutely no problem downloading/installing. I uninstalled the EA Download Manager first (just to make sure) and disconnected my internet connection, so that it couldn't interfere.

    Hope you all get to play, cos it's sooooo good.

    @244 and 245, please stop saying things when you don't know the facts. EA announced a long time ago that for the time being, there would only be ONE neighbourhood, and that others would be available to download once the game had gone live.

    EA have also said that several things have been left out, in order for Expansions, but that what's in the game will keep gamers occupied until they do release an expansion pack. (And I can confirm… I've been playing for three hours now and still getting used to everything). There's HEAPS more to do than there was in the Sims 2, and completely new ways of going about everything. It's quite amazing.

    So, to Demoa in particular, let's try not to spout false truths before actually getting our facts right? Hm?

    This Does work. I downloaded the 1gb Megaupload links on page 2. Mounted and installed with no problems. The Crack was in the image file, so once mounted I just double clicked and went.

    Oh, so not being able to make neighborhoods, not being able to edit neighborhood they give you, not being able to create big lots, not being able to kill sims, are all going to be added with expansions? yeah, right. Im sure if they will release a death pack and a large lot pack and a wallpaper pack im sure they would be big sellers. not. Its obviously just a demo. It works, but its just a demo.

    @229 Thanks Andrea I'm having a lot more fun with the game now using cheats. The money cheat motherlode is especially great because I don't have time to play this so much that I could earn enough without cheating. Its pretty cool just building and customizing houses

    No, you are not able to make neighbourhoods. You were never supposed to be able to make neighbourhoods. If you had actually been reading about the game, you'd know this. The deaths can also happen but they are MUCH harder to achieve then in previous game. This has also been established before.

    However, I do believe this may be a preview version with most but not all features included, but I won't claim it for truth.

    Also, it would be swell if people who got the game working ( or didn't manage to install ) would mention which files they downloaded.

    you cant kill.

    I made a small room with a grill and curtains all over the place and closed a sim inside with no doors. started a fire and blocked anyone from attempting to put it out. The chick was in the middle of roaring flames screaming for hours and i put it on full speed, a bunch of time went by and the fire eventually burned itself out. The girl was fine after like nothing even happened. That is so dumb and fake I hope they didndt get all sensitive about killing sims. Oh well, tonight ill try kidnapping all of the neighborhoods sims and placing like 10 of them in a door-less room and starting another fire and see what happens.

    Links from 84 definitely work. For those experiencing crashes, the problem relies on the antialising setting. Anything below High should be good. Tried on a GTX 260. The game has potential.

    Just to clear some of the stupidity: it is the full game. It only has Sunset Valley because Riverview is supposed to be a released as a free download on the second of June. Yes, Sims can die and can be killed, as several videos of the game have shown already. Having in mind that ghosts are this edition's supernatural entity, it would make no sense otherwise.

    If you don't like the Sims series you won't like this game. There is not much else to say.

    What I found amusing with Sims 2 was making a Sim just like my wife and then kicking her out. I then got a house full of girlfriends like Mr. Hefner. Then I got my original wife sim to move back in.

    It used to piss off my real life wife when she would walk by the screen and see me with a house filled with girlfriends. When you have been married 17 years it is rather fun to torture her.

    I just found the way to get the thing done.

    1. Go to the Finder -> Application -> The Sims 3 folder
    2. Right Click The Sims 3 icon -> Click "Show Package Contents"
    3. There should be a long long list, Open Content -> Resources -> transgaming -> c_drive -> Program Files -> Electronic Arts -> The Sims 3 -> Games -> Bin folders
    4. Replace the TS3.exe with the one you got elsewhere
    5. Cheers!

    (In case I unplug my network before enter the game, don't know if it matters)

    I cant get the TS3.exe to be copied to Game\Bin it says it has no more free space.

    When i try to play it it tells me i need to connect to the internet.

    if they make this for the PC first they better do a decent f*cking port or i'm going to smear sh*t on my t*ts and take pictures of it. when i played the ports for Sims 2, especially on the gamecube, they sucked so bad, i thought my vag was gonna dry up and crumble like croutons. only i'd call it c*nt-tons.

    i cant put the ts3.exe into the Game\bin becauseit says it has no extra space to copy over….

    i cant play the game because hte launcher requires internet verificaiton….

    Are you sure you have enough hard drive space left? After copying over the cracked ts3.exe, use it to launch game instead of the launcher. I did it that way and I didn't need to block internet connection or receive any notice for internet verification.

    what im atempting to do is, I unmounted, edited the folder and put the crack ts3.exe in game\bin and then mounted and im reinstalling… dont know if that will do me any good… its mounting to G: drive…

    This may be a long shot as I havent finished downloading the game myself yet. But are you trying to edit/replace the folder that has been installed on your harddrive (like program files) are you trying to edit those on the disc image? Cause thats not gonna work.

    A reply to post 210 I fixed the missing file. First Extract the ISO then Go to folder "Game/bin/bin/ and create a new folder Da-DK and copy the same missing file out of another one of those folders. They Try to install and it will say "missing File" Just egnore this message and install, copy crack AND ENJOY!!!! I worked this out myself. Thanks!

    The game is not fake.

    Obviously 2 things are happening here, some morons are uploading different parts of different games to their rapidshare accounts and also viruses in order to screw people over.

    second thing. E@ itself might be trying to contain the damage by spreading false files into the system in order to get people discouraged and spreading false statements here that this is fake. You do not have to be a genius to expect and know that this is going to happen here.

    There is only one city to play in.

    The only bug i have so far is when i go to customize people the game will crash on me or fall into error and lock.

    the game itself is ok. the graphics are very much like sims 2, no real improvment, the ui has been tweaked somewhat. I did not play long enough to make final judgment but it does not look that impressive so far, the coolness factor must be buried down deeper in the game but i did not see it as first look, i did not get a "wow" feeling when i opened the game for the first time to be honest…

    did anyone encounter a lockup when they were trying to edit their sims? if so is there a known fix?

    I downloaded one of the first rapdishare links that where uploaded. The ISO did have a Trojon Virus on it. AVG removed this and the game installs fine. The missing file issue if already fixed on my recent post 277. Thanx!

    Indeed, there are a lot of either missing objects or very few objects and styles in the game… which makes me wonder…

    Played a bit more..

    You can Create Bettie Page in the game, for those who know her you will understand what i mean. There is a premade sim that strikingly resembles her…all you have to do is change her hair color to black and you have yourself your own Bettie Page sim.

    For kicks i tried the shower and the censor blur is just awfull, i hope someone comes up with a decensor patch soon.

    at 283…maybe but still..why is the game that functionnal, i mentionned i had a few problem but now i think it might be a memory leak in the game.

    To counter my say earlier…the sims do not look much better than sims 2 at first glance but the are smoother and the textures are way better.

    The only thing so far i do not like is that there is no real bodyshop in the game, the only way too shape the appearance is with just one slider that makes your sims skinny up to fat and regular joe to muscular. the individual parts I.e ( breasts) do not look to be editable, so if you were expecting to have a big boob diva running around you will be disapointed, ahh, but i guess people will start to unravel those parts to be edited soon enough…

    I am also wondering if the simsocieties city that we can make could be used in sims 3, i vaguely remember this, it would be nice and give more credibility to simsocieties as a game…

    it's not only the thumbnails.package file that has issues. it appears all the other files outside of the caches folder can't be read, because i cannot extract them.

    Netload links on comment 77 are working perfectly. Got the game running good. It's definitely a final version. I played 6 hours already and didn't notice any bugs or such. And the game is very addictive.

    The game does indeed work (with a few bugs though) but I agree there are a lot of "standard" objects and designs missing! For example take a look at how many doors and windows are there, and compare it with the Sims 2 base game.

    Same goes for other objects and object categories as well. Not to mention that you can't make your sim die in a fire.

    No official announcement from EA yet, just feedback from gamers. I will be getting the review code shortly so hopefully I'll be able to verify this.

    I think EA released it on the net on purpose.
    i got news that to be able to connect to EA server u still need to buy the game, they'll know if you're using pirate copy once u connect to EA server. so keep it on your PC only

    Hi i need a hint about sims 3. I install the game without that EA program, crack the game and then i start it. I create a sim give him in the house play about 10 min then the game fall down. i start it again and it happend again and again and…. anyone know what to do pls?

    Stumbled across error logs for these crashes and it crashes. The most descriptive line was this. "DasmX86Dll.dll not found".

    Googled that and I came across this site. It seems its a common EA error and is DRM related.

    You cant build stairs.

    This is only a demo version half of the stuff isnt avaialable you will have to buy expansion packs to build stairs and multi level houses. This version only allows single level houses.

    Wait for the real version, untill then only build single level.

    i can confirm its just a demo. I tested a copy for EA last month and there were MANY more options. This only has about half.

    All games have bugs, this is no exception…

    And this is the gold retail version…
    We have less objects because the ones we have we can edit them in many ways, with many textures and colors…

    And in the previous Sims we can't do that, so that's why we had more objects in the previous ones.

    This game haven't been NUKED so this is real…

    330 you can disable aging (and also configure how long it will take all sims to age) through the game's options :D

    also, yes this is just a demo.

    There is only 1 town, and you can only play as one family. If you choose to play as another family all your previous familys progrees is lost. No way a complete game would be like that.

    In sims 2 you could pick any family you want and your last one would not be affected.

    alos there are limited amount of objects an you cannot kill sims.

    and you cannot build your own town.

    its not a demo. i have played all day and its ok not great but i'm sure it will with more expansions. it has been known for quite some time thats theres only one town and that you can get another one from a download they will post later. also you have to save and go back to the main menu to load another family. i have 2 different families saved at the moment.

    This obviously isn't a demo, only an idiot would think so. I bet all the flaws from this will be in the released version, which will probably be exactly the same as this. Is it so hard to belive EA would put out a glitchy game?

    Again, this is the retail version, you complete morons. It was already known that you couldn't make towns and that only one shipped with the game. The rest is just stuff you haven't figured out yet or limitations that some pretend are things that were left out for the "preview" version.

    I can't seem 2 get it 2 download fast enough…everytime I do start, the links get deleted or wanna take like 8 hours or more…I have cable internet so I know it the download speed that is the problem…I wouldn't mind just havin 1 link that isn't megeshares link, cuz I don't have an account 4 NE of these, and can't download NE thing more the 200mbs at a time…if some1 has a link that will work 4 me or an account I can use, just 4 me 2 download this game I would really appreciate it…

    After 6 hours play its i can confirm

    It is the full game retail
    You can kill people (try straving them)
    You cannot go into shops or bars (there is no interior its all fake the whole town) or just an excuse for addons go figure.
    It is alot harder & deeper than all previous sims
    Ageing of sim can be adjusted upto 900days!
    You can start other familys you just have to move back to main menu.
    99% of objects texture can be edited.
    There is no weather or seasons.
    There is no animals

    There are few bugs somethings brake alot, 3d corruption at the beach etc.

    All in all good game i will buy it 9/10

    there are bugs when you try to put a roof on a house it wont let you and the game crashes and you need to restart your pc

    i dont think its a finished copy

    yea the game does crash, i was playing this for a few hours today, got so far too then the thing froze, tried to end program via task manager, wudnt end … had no choice but to reboot… totally froze my screen.

    How ridiculous. This game works fine for me. I played it for several hours at a time since it hit the net. As far as I can tell it has all the -basic- things you'd expect the first in a Sims series to have. I got stairs to work just fine, roofs work just fine. The only thing I had break was one computer over several hours of gameplay and it took about two seconds to call the repairman to fix. I think they reduced the item count slightly overall because of the color and design customization included. Uh, apparently there's new code that if you start a new family, the old one progresses without you behind the scenes. Also, it's not a bug that it's harder to kill sims they put forth the effort to give them survival instinct and increased durability. I think any problems in the game are mainly due to new game bugs, user system errors, and the same old hardward conflicts. Doesn't seem like any kind of demo though.

    To the person who said you can't build multilevel houses, you are incorrect. And to the person who was having trouble with stairs, make sure autoroof is disabled and delete ALL the roofing tiles first before you start trying to build stairs. The roof itself will prevent stairs from being built. Also make sure no items intersect like lights and set aside plenty of space. I have ingame screenshots if you don't believe me.

    This is not fake all i downloaded two days and not problem game and lot of options open and game play.NO INSTALL EA DOWNLOADER MANAGER AND NO CONNECTION TO THE ONLINE COMMUNITY.
    I played game not problem not fake or beta and not trojan thank you lot of real uploader team.NO FAKE OR TROJAN BASTARDS.Lot of idiot vírus uploader.

    Hmm, well either my computer is messed up or this program is. I got it from a torrent and at first it was fine, but it crashes constantly and at random times — usually 15 minutes into gameplay or so. Anyone else have that problem?

    mozakko is 100% right. Don't install the EA download manager, and if you have it install already from another EA game, uninstall it. I've heard about that causing crashes too. Also, if you can I would delete the icon on the desktop, and run the crack directly. Don't even use the launcher.

    I was crashing during the first 10-15 minutes of gameplay too. I tried down playing my graphic settings and updating some drivers through the manufacturer's sites. It was unsuccessful. Through my good friend google, I found this site:

    They have drivers for ati and nvidia graphic cards. I've been crash free since. You might want to give this a try if you have a compatible video card and think you're having a video driver issue.

    So I assume that RELOADED have cracked a Preview Version of the game.

    So this isn't the final version.

    That's why the game crashes occasionaly.
