Fairlight, one of the oldest and most respected active scene groups releasing games pred yet another (7th?) expansion pack for The Sims 2. Kitchen And Bath Interior Design further enhances already rich equipment in this life simulator. I’m not really sure many guys will download it but you can get it for your girlfriend or younger sister. You need the original game installed of course - and then just a crack and serial included in the NFO.

    you know what´s the funny thing???? to know that in 2 more years when the sims 3 appears all this expansions are going to be nothing more than garbage….. oh well, at lest this small images are useful to close a double layer dvd that has something more important, you can always use those small amounts of space with a sims expansion :D

    I dont get why people are btching about the game. Its not for everyone but for the type of game it is its perfect. Its like saying all action movies are crap just because you prefer Comedy.

    Yeah.. 5years ago maybe.
    FLT today aint the classic FLT. Just some fool that taken over the groupname and got more or less nothing to do with the old FLT.
    Just like the DEV since 3years back aint the same DEV that was competing against old FLT. Same stuff going on there.
    And how much respect is it to come out once a year from their cave to release the next Sims 2 Expansion?

    I said as a joke a while back, that they would probably add some toilet expansion and by god it turned out to be reality >-< god how long are they gonna milk this? Well i guess for years to come, not only is there a “The Sims Movie” which i have no idea how will work. And The Sims 3 is in progress, where we probably can expect 20-30 more expansions, i liked sims when i was like 15ish, but its just too much now.

    i worked it out, to extract the .bin file rename the file with the extension .001 to .rar then when it asks for the next part say show all and point it to the .002 extension file, once that has extracted rename the original .001 file back to .001 then change .031 file extension to rar to extract the .cue file. STRANGE!!

    easier way to do it would be to use HJ split get the program from here
    http://www.freebytesoftware.com/download/hjsplit.zip
    then use it to piece all the 001, 002, etc into one file.
    then add .rar to the end and extract that and there you go you got the file u need.

    It doesn’t seem to me any more pointless or pathetic the WoW or the like. Some people pretend to be clerics or barbarians, some want to pretend to be something a bit more traditional.

    You guys can knock this game all you want but it is almost single handedly keeping PC games on the map. I understand without daughters you may not have bothered with this game, but it’s pretty damned impressive at what it does. It puts classic doll houses to shame. And they still get excited about new content. The online Sims failed but they found a way to milk the wallet. People spend money every month on WoW also.

    honestly i cant figure out how to make this work, whys it gotta be all crapped up.. couldnt they just have it ready for extraction like how the movies work on this site.
    i tried renaming it but it wouldnt let me rename it to .rar
    than i tried the whole hjsplit thing, wouldnt let me put those files in.
    all im left with is that bin file and the cue file.
    someone make some sense please cause sims 2 blows alone

    Download daemon tools (just Google it). It adds a new (virtual) drive letter. Once you tell daemon to ‘mount’ your ISO file, as far as your computer is concerned, the CD (or DVD) is now sitting in your new (virtual) drive. Run the setup program just like you would if you popped in an actual disk into your CD\DVD drive.

    ” wrong disc inserted. please insert the original “the sims 2 kitchen & bath interior design” cd/dvd

    People these days are more into modding the Sims (1 and 2) rather than just playing it. After about a week of playing it gets really boring but making new content for it is a blast! You can always make a better outfit or a better home or whatever. Most of the best content is user created. A great thing about these expansions is that they come with new mesh’s for people to skin.

    Oh, and EA sucks ass and I wish they never bought Maxis…

    Guys please help me. I have renamed all of them into .RAR and now i dont know how to proceed. i tryied to winrar one by one and when put 010 to winrar it dont let me, result me an error. Please someone write here step-by-step how to make the game work. THX a lot
