Just as pucechan sais, not only women play it and it's really not just about the gameplay. The are zilions of people who love o skin (=to make clothes) or objects. And then it's also about the community - people love to share their creations. And what's more, I love the free idea of the game - every step is up to you, you decide about everything in the game. It's very creative and it's like Sim City but in a very close view. Oh, and Pets is really something most of the community wanted! I love this game from the begining.
