Lisa discovers she has an impressive knack for solving crossword puzzles and she enters in a city-wide crossword tournament. Feelings are hurt though when Homer bets against Lisa in the championship match.

    show’s dead and rotten! i watched the last 3 or 4 episodes without even popping up a grin, i just sat there straight face thinking to myself “maybe there’s something wrong with me”, but then i realized it really was the show that sucked big time.

    What’s happened to this show? It has got so boring lately.

    Did the original writers all get fired after the writers strike and get replaced with a bored housewife?

    I mean, what kind of out of touch writer thinks up a plot based on crossword puzzles?
