With last week’s simpsons episode, comments were that it was crap, so I did not download it. I will however, be trying this episode as the plot outline seems interesting, I wonder what Danny is going to be like. Anyways the episode is loosely based on the plot of The Departed, so watch it.

yet another simpsons episode with a new kid in school that will be more popular than Bart. In the end, Bart will kick his ass or something, and he will be popular again.
No wonder Matt Groening is losing viewers against Seth McFarlane.

Whats the difference with the Caph release? Better quality?
Although this episode was a complete rip of The Departed, it is actually one of the better episodes this season.

Crap once again like the whole season so far. Last episode before this was even that bad that i turned it off half way in, that didnt happen before, with no show whatsoever. I wish they had killed the show off after the Simpsons Movie. But they did not and continue to provide utter crap each week again… really wonder why i’m still downloading this but thanks to the lack of new shows atm. there are not many alternatives. At least Family Guy is still decent and can’t wait till South Park is airing again… they shall just stop beating that dead horse that The Simpsons is now.
family guy is terrible, I don’t get how you can laugh at some of the messed up humour it has, it’s like a glorified sketch show with 10 second sketches

Matt Groening isn’t losing viewers. Unless you can back up your comment with proof, I don’t recommend acting like a fanboy. Before your motor kicks in, the Family Guy seasons isn’t good enough proof. The Simpsons is much more entertaining than Family Guy. Especially for those of us who are old.

i agree that simpsons is more enjoyable than family guy and it probably isnt losing viewers, but its just a different type of viewer, me i love the old simpsons, the episodes were classic and now, they do to much outlandish unbelievable adventures, every episod tries to be epic, i love the older episodes, much more humor:)
i still watch it though.just wish theyd stop smoking weed while writing the episode plots.

The writers should kill off Bart and Lisa in some kind of accident and just make the show about Homer, Barney, Lenny, Moe, Carl, etc. Classic simpsons episodes are so good, especially the ones that focus on Homer and his friends. The show has so many good side characters it doesn’t need Bart or Lisa. There are too many shows about annoying cartoon kids anyway.
These last couple of seasons of the Simpsons have been quite poor, I still watch them but its out of habit now. Family Guy is equally lame too, neither of these shows stand up against the quality of South Park at the moment, I think Futurama was way superior too.

About this one, well, I can’t say that I haven’t enjoyed it; it could have been better though.

both simpsons AND family guy are short of ideas (Brian makes a pass at Lois.. wow, didnt see that whole story line from the first 2mins). Every now and again they do something brilliant though, so personally I’m happy for them to carry on churning out the crap forever, with only occasional gems. Really, its a nice way to spend 20mins, however good or bad the eps are.
South Park has proven itself to be way ahead of family guy, simpsons, american dad, futurama etc – none of them have done anything to rival Imaginationland. thats no reason to want the others to call it a day – if anything, more crap rip offs would get pushed forward, and we’d end up watching all the same storylines again, just with slightly different characters…..

there new episodes are just as crazy as simpsons and family guy, they always make episodes that are aimed to piss someone off,or some culture, everyone just aims for the stoner audience now, they try to do the craziest thing possible with the episodes, and crazy isnt always good
