The Simpsons S19E12; Family Guy S06E08; American Dad! S03E11

The Simpsons’ writing staff all need to be fired. Too many episodes lately have just been the characters telling stories. This needs to end, as it’s getting boring. I’ll still watch it though ;-) Valentines themed Simpsons episode airs tonight :p

Love, Springfieldian Style: A touch of romance abounds in this episode as the Simpsons celebrate Valentine’s Day with Homer and Marge taking a ride through the Tunnel of Love at a carnival, only to be trapped inside when Bart sabotages their fun with gelatin. Homer helps pass the time with his rendition of the Bonnie and Clyde love story, and Marge recites her version of Lady and the Tramp. Also, Bart tells his version of the Sid and Nancy story.

Looks like tonight’s family guy episode has potential. James Woods steals Peter’s identity and starts living out his life. In order to re-gain what was stolen from him an epic battle between the two foes ensues. Due to the writer’s strike, the last episode was broadcast Sun, Jan 13. This leaves a long 35 day stretch in between new episodes :mad: . All the more reason to download this one tonight.

Back to the Woods: James Woods returns after being locked in a crate to seek revenge against Peter. First, James steals Peter’s identity and moves in as head of the Griffin household. Then, Peter goes out and ruins James career and image.

The last American Dad! episode was aired Sunday, Jan 27. It has been 21 days since I posted the last episode, for some reason it seems much less. More of the usual from AD (which is a good thing :cool: ) to be expected tonight, from what I can gather from the plot outline.

Widowmaker: Stan spends time with ‘pretend psychiatrist’ Roger, when Francine wants him to open up more emotionally, but ends up being more touchy-feely than she can handle. Meanwhile, Steve vows revenge when Haley kills the queen bee from his science project.

    yeah the simpsons have been pulling that fantasy episode crap alot over the past few years,not to mention the episodes where the main storyline revolves around Lisa who has to be the most unfunny character.If they would make more episodes with the town people like Moe,Apu,Skinner etc involved and bring back Homers crazy antics which they dont have nearly enough of anymore.I would probably watch every week like I used to.
    But yeah enough of the shortstory,commercialbreak,shortstory,commercialbreak,shortstory formula.

    on the simpsons topic i wont even dl it , I used to be a hardcore fan i have evry episode ever except this one cant be bothered with them ruining what used to be (imho) on of the best shows on tv, now its just awful. the failed to live up to there own legacy. I watch futurama family guy and my personal fav american dad . simpsons …goodnight!

    That was the worst Family Guy episode I have ever seen. Many people joke about them using too many flashbacks, but I swear that episode used mostly flashbacks and hardly anything else. Not worth a download imo.

    Is it just me, or is the panning really bad on the “Caph” version of “The Simpsons” episode? I’m getting the “XOR” one now, because the panning looks better, but then that has sync problems and some interlacing (but “Family Guy” had some interlacing too). To me it seems like “Caph” did a bad ivtc. A really bad one.
