The Simpsons Movie TS XViD-mVs

Everyone including the rlslog editors were expecting the first English TS of The Simpsons Movie to come from group PUKKA since their German friends had such a a good TS all ready for them to use and the only thing that was needed was some synced English audio pasted onto it… Ah well it doesn’t matter anymore because that well known group that goes by the pseudonym maVensupplier has come through for us with the Telesync for The Simpsons Movie that most of you have been holding out for. The quality is you will be glad to hear, much improved over the previous CAM in both the image and audio departments.

I have to say though the image looks almost the same as the CiNTAX German TS, so it might just be a re-encode from that version which would explain why it looks a little darker and that means that PUKKA would come out with a PROPER, but then again this is just hearsay. It also looks a tad over-cropped but overall image quality is very nice and clear. Audio is also good but not brilliant, it still bears the hallmarks of a TS or CAM release such as dull sounds, almost no bass and can it be “tinny” in places but these are just minor faults which cant really be avoided because of the way it has been recorded. I have seen better TS’s but this is certainly not a bad effort by mVs. The movie itself is pretty good as well the worst that can be said about it is that its like watching 3 normal Simpson’s episodes all at once which in my book is a positive thing :) . I hope you guys enjoy this one as it looks like many others have according to that IMDB rating! Woo-hoo!

    Because they cover rls’s and add torrent links as a bonus. Plenty of sites out there that already index torrents.

    As for the rls Great audio on this one, nice and clear. I think the video is a bit dark also but still good. Very much “like” cintax’s video source. I’d say it’s the best release to date.

    as said, this has bad cropping and some sync issues, but the audio quality is outstanding. All we need is this audio on the german video surce and we have a winner.

    The sound on the nofear rls sounds like ass. I’m not putting that static through my system. Good rls for the nofear one tho it is a little darker than the mVs one. Dispite the overcrop this is the one I’m getting until Pukka propers it :)

    After hearing reviews from some friends and family who really love the show, they recommend me not to see it cuz its not worth the time and just go buy a season dvd. I still watched it, being a simpsons fan, and found disappointing. yea u are rite @99 the movie sucks. and in the theater theres always a dude just laughing so hard at one of the dumbest part of the movie that is not even funny to spent a breath on laughing at. first 40 mins were good then shit happens. Don’t watch in theaters! use money to go buy a season dvd which is worth it.

    The movie got about 10 laughs from me. That works out to about 3 laughs per episode timewise, which is just about what I expect from newer seasons.

    In other words, it was painful to watch. Those 10 laughs could have been compressed into a few minutes and I wouldn’t have missed the plot.

    Very good quality until 30 minutes in where a head pops up and progressively gets worse for the next 15 minutes, then it dissapears and the good quality is back. Would reccommend waiting for an R5 or DVD screener for fist time watchers but its OK if you dont mind losing a little of the experience.

    A Cam is a movie recorded with a simple camera…
    A Telesync is recorded also from a camera, but with better audio…

    So…its not because of the people moving in front of it that you distinguish a Cam from a Telesync DUMBASS!!!
