The Simpsons Movie PROPER TELESYNC XViD-PUKKA

A day after mVS released there TS of The Simpsons Movie, PUKKA finnally comes out with their proper. As everyone expected PUKKA used CiNTAX’s german video source and then used their own audio. Video looks great having very sharp colours and unlike mVs’s release it’s not shot on somewhat of an angle and it’s not overcropped. Audio is great too and it sounds much better than mVs’s release, being much clearer. If you really want to see this movie and are too cheap to go see it in theatres I recommend you download this copy so you don’t ruin the experience of watching this great movie. Go see the movie in theatres it’s well worth whatever you pay.

    Does pukka have ppl’s heads in it. I was going thru mvs when I saw how cropped the pick was and the ppls heads were covering a lot of the movie.

    The video from notrade(NoFear) and the video from pukka are both supposed to be the same (german cintax). Got NoFear
    and Cintax but not Pukka myself.
    Use Virtualdub to combine the two.
    Hopefully should synch perfectly.
    Will be trying Pukka to CinTex myself

    Of course this is not the first Simpsons movie out there, years ago there was a IMAX 3D Simpsons movie which with all the 3D effects was quite nice to watch. This movie is nothing special, just watch a few episodes instead, you might have even more fun.

    Pukka’s NFO states a run time of 1 hour 16 minutes (77mins); whilst the IMDB has a runtime of 87 minutes…does this mean the rls is missing ten minutes, or is it a typo in Pukka’s NFO ?

    Im so sorry if Ive done something I shouldnt. And in regards to the running time, 10 minutes of credits seems long thats why I asked – although i did come to that conclusion myself.

    just watched it, Granting it was using a wire hooked upto a HDTV, so quality for me was pretty much like dvdrip, but, without its an S: 8 . V: 8.5
    the movie however could be better but it was pretty fun and i regret not watching it in theatres.

    OK Thanks MADSTAN, for the record we’re going to flicks to watch it tomorrow so I’ll wait on the d/load for now anyways. Just wanted to garner the general consensus on the film, I hope it’s as good as folk are saying.

    Ill post up tomorrow my thoughts after seeing it at the pics, until then like I said it’s on hold, I want to see it for the first time when theres a packed cinema full laughing with me!

    Best rls to date.

    I found the colors to be a bit red-ish and there is some ghosting (nuked for in some DB’s). But with a better audio source, a good video source from ctx, the correct crop, no heads in the frame for 15min this is the one to grab for now.

    @Michael Meachin you need to edit your name and make up nickname b/c using your full name on a public site like this isn’t wise. The name you enter isn’t vital to anything so make it up.

    Is it me or has been Pukka been messing up lately with his early releases of movies. His last couple of releases have been a little suspect. In addition to the Simpsons release which has been nuked you have Fanstantic 4 Silver Surfer which had bad quality and you have Chuck and Larry reccently which had bad quality.

    but just fnished downloading PUKKA simpsons.
    Re-encoded audio in TMPGENC.
    Added the extra audio to a dvd i made on Friday of theCintax
    release complete with german audio. Perfect synch.
    The slight and it is slight ghosting was not nuked for Cintax in three days but straight away for Pukka.

    Anybody want a dual audio dvd

    saw it in theatres yesterday this release and nofears have the same video from cintex(GERMAN) this audio is much better though and only pukka had permission from cintex to use the video source so therefore nofears release should be nuked for stolen source and as far as the missing 10 mins. go its the end credits which have alot of small scenes through out anyway if anyone needs an invite for iptorrents let me know

    Of the releases so far, 3 share the same video quality, from the original CiNTAX German source

    NOFEAR
    iNTERNAL.XviD-iND
    PUKKA

    Quality is fair, some flicker and over-saturation colour issues common to a TS source, but certainly watchable. Some of the written gags are hard-subbed in German (not the lines on the blackboard in the titles tho ;) ) but not often enough to be of issue.

    mVs rls suffers from heads inframe for a short while, is cropped to miss much of the lower screen (presumably to avoid additional head intrusion ;) ) and while much more duller in terms of colour, it is slightly crisper than the CiNTAX source.

    AUDIO

    NOFEAR = dissappointing. Ive read that this came from an unknown source, possibly a drive in, and quality does reflect this, respect to a good job by NoFear on the speed of the release & the sync (fecking spot on) but the source lets it down.

    iNTERNAL.XviD-iND & mVs = better, both have the same sourced audio, and its good, it only takes a second of comparison to realise how much better it is than the NoFear source. Not perfect, tinny at times but not as harsh.

    Yet to comment on PUKKA audio as rapidshare sucks giant monkey balls. (the whole monkey is giant, not just his balls, that would be weird)

    this is very watchable quality. vid=8 aud=8
    the german subs are only annoying at the end when santas little helper says something that was supposed to be subbed and its in german (wish i knew what he said). other than that, i laughed a bunch. i probably would have enjoyed it more but they threw to many of the funny moments of the movie into the trailors so you kinda have already laughed at those moments before. but way worth the watch!!!

    Pukka is a release GROUP not a guy

    Demoind has free signups every friday when the server isnt’ messed up.

    This is a better copy than the other TS, german video source so less cropping, a little brighter, slightly better audio.

    I watched the TS with heads, so I only skipped through this one and didn’t see any heads.
