As a 3rd party user with no allegiance to either sites.
My observation is that Rlslog does not have popups like scnerls, the Admin staff are obviously more mature (Jay how old are you my child?) and Rlslog is ever reliable.

the release is watchable and it even has Dutch subs, so that’s a big plus

Scene rls have 1 popup per session. Rlslog have Interstitial ad. That redirect away from the page. All sites have advertising, otherwise they wouldn’t be able to run.
Whats with all these copy cat rlslog stites tonight@!! RLSLOG FTW …. if rlslog was bad it wouldnt have over 100 000 vists a day compared to like 20 to the copy cat sites

Anyway on topic, does this release have bad crop? The copyright warning at the very start is missing part of the logo at the top and missing text at the bottom? Anyone else notice this?
copyright logo? in that case it is not the real thing. subs come from another movie, only english subs are okay. this release sounds looks like a joke to me

This movie was nice, but not fantastic compared to a average episode of “The Simpsons”.

The screener I thought was as good as dvd rip quality the only problem with the screener was that we didn’t get the subtitle text of what santas little helper saids to bart near the end of the movie.
OK, then, thanks for your comments; so it’s nuked, it’s only one CD with mp3. No need if we already have the DVDscreener. I’ll wait for a 2 CD + ac3 5.1 release.
Hmm, something doesn’t seem right with the colors of this release. Over-bright? I don’t know, just something isn’t right.
Personally I thought the MVS release was better than this. Though, the audio seemed a bit upgraded with this DVDSCR release.

The movie is 83 mins runtime, there wont be any 2 CD release with ac3. The MVS release is not a DVDSCR it’s a mislabled TC.

UT3 PC demo feels like a port from Xbox itself. Epic pretty much sucks, and i hope they go bankrupt cause they really dont know how to make games anymore.

It is the best site for new (scene) releases! But lately there is so much BS around it. Bloggers can’t keep their biased opinions to themselves (like Mr. X) and they keep adding useless stuff like the game news update or random titbits about dead parrots! It’s looking more and more like a girly-mag for nerds than a scene release site.
RLSLOG is great for new releases, but the rest I can do without.
This release doesn’t seem to be any different than mVs’ DVDSCR. The animals still don’t have their subtitle things and the FOXINT logo is still visible at places. It just seems like HLS took the DVDR version of mVs’ release and encoded that, and also decreased the frame rate a bit, which means panning doesn’t look good either. More reasons for the nuke. 8D

So? That never happens for movies that short to be released in ac3 5.1 on 2 CDs? How come short movies cannot be released with real good Dolby 5.1 sound? D’oh! Maybe not on the scene but maybe out of it there will be. I’ll probably buy it on DVD when it comes out anyway – I’m a huge fan of The Simpsons – so it doesn’t really matter if there’s not. Thanks anyway, though.

I have only been visiting rlslog a few weeks now and i just have to say, that at no other time, in searching for things to ..err.. “backup” have i had such a great time at a site, no adds no pop ups/unders/sideways or upsidedowns .. Long live RLSLOG! and all its helpful members!!

DVDscr was good enough for me, for the record it was NOT a TC. I don’t get why they had to mention DVDscr nuke, who cares if 4 frames are missing from the movie?!

The FOXINT things, as far as I know, aren’t part of the movie. I can’t remember seeing them when I went to the cinema. The thing that says “We even advertise in movies now” is part of the movie, and I knew that all along.

Everytime I try to burn this onto a DVD the audio gets out of sync with the video (and I have tried three different burning programs). Either I have bad luck or there’s something wrong with it. The funny part is that the file itself is in sync when I play it using Quicktime or VLC, so obviously they have some syncing tools.
J, Did u try some less popular or advanced players like windows media player or some converters preview player… if the audio isn’t in sync there then it’s the movie file itself but if the audio works int all players then there something wrong with ur burning tools or something … if u haven’t tried convertxtodvd or dvd architect yet then give one of them a try cause i had more luck with those two than with any other programs that i used
Thanks, Notn4. I may try those if I have the problem again. I tried burning a different film and it worked fine, so I suspect there was something incompatible about the file and the programs together. Anyway, I’m going to download another file of this movie and see if it works.
oh btw if anyone could give me a link to a better dvdrip if there is one already I would really by thankful cause i’m having the same problem as J had and i’ve tried the most common softwares like convertxtodvd avitodvd dvdtosvcd dvdsanta and all kind of crap so… if u don’t know a link to a better version then please give me a link to a good guide of how to get this one to dvd with srt subs
