I think we all (should) know this Simpsons Movie. And now it’s released in HDrip by REFiNED grp. If you prefer HD rips and love Simpsons then add it into your download list.

Plot: In Springfield, Lisa convinces the locals to clean up the polluted Lake Springfield after the sinking of the stage of the Green Day in a concert of rock and roll. Meanwhile, Homer saves a pig from being killed in Krusty Burger and adopts it, calling the animal Spider Pig. After two days, Spider Pig fills up a silo with its excrement and Homer dumps the silo in the lake, polluting it. The angry population forces the Simpsons to move to Alaska. Meanwhile the stupid president Arnold Schwarzenegger is induced by his advisor from EPA to put a dome over Springfield to hold the population and destroy the city. When Marge sees the new in the television, she tells Homer that they must return to Springfield to save their town and friends, but Homer is not convinced if people of Springfield deserve their support.

    1280×528 is cropped from 1280×720 since the movie isn’t shot in 16:9 and u don’t want to encode those extra pixels

    Finally a HDrip of a worthy movie. #10 is right, newer animation like this looks incredible in this format but for older animated movies it doesn’t always make that much difference.

    And for those complaining about the ‘old’ simpsons being better: The nurse will be there soon with your medicine and bedpan.

    Any other links for this? Maybe it’ll get going over night…?

    @7: 720p footage is 1280 pixels wide, by 720 tall.
    If it’s cropped to a film-aspect ratio (2.85 or something, “wider” than regular video), the height will be smaller (as in this case), or there will be black-bars in the video (utterly pointless with digital video files..)

    I doubt this will be worth downloading in bluray.. Its not like the movie is visually impressive anyway, its the story that you want. Maybe if you have a large screen and you could (barely) see the jpeg artifacts on watching the 1cd version ^^

    Since I found RLSLog and started downloading again, I’ve nearly filled up my entire hard drive. Though it’s only 400 non-OS gigabytes, using up 390 of them seems like a bit of an accomplishment.

    Haha, I actually said “Why release an animated movie in HD? High Deff Pencil lines??” But I can clearly see that the colors and lines are much nicer than the DVD rip. Keep the blu-ray rollin, rlslog :)

    blu-ray looks sharper, thats it, if you cant afford a decent tv to see the difference dont bother. To those who can however… aww yeah… animation looks freakin awesome in hd :D

    If you get CRC corruption, you need to re-download the corrupted parts. ON ANY FILE. ANYWHERE.

    This occurs in the process of downloading.
