Another new game is also a bit unknown action title “The Shield”. While you won’t probably become enchanted by graphic interface of this game, the story isn’t that bad and contains some original elements. Players take on the role of Mackey, the tough, street-savvy leader of the Elite Strike Team, a special police unit located deep within the crime-riddled trenches of Los Angeles. Vic lives by his own code of ethics, neither bad nor good, and is a different kind of a cop who is willing to do what it takes to clean up the streets.
In The Shield game, players are able to dive into frenetic-paced gameplay and interact with the complex characters and unique locations that are key trademarks of the series. As Vic, the player will engage in perilous, true-to-life police work (busting crack dens, thwarting bank robberies, taking down gang bangers, apprehending serial killers). In order to succeed, they will need to operate outside the rules by intimidating suspects with brute force, accepting bribes, and holding incriminating information over other cops who don’t agree with Vic’s “ends justify the means” approach to fighting crime.

One of the best series ever and they sell the license for that craptacular pile of shit. The Shield deserved something in the grand scale of GTA or nothing. Too bad.

The Shield is a very good serie, too bad that the game doesn’t ressemble to the series goodness.
So this game isn’t even decent? I always wanted to be a dirty cop in-game and that sh*tty remake of Narc didn’t cut it. I want in-depth gameplay and sharp graphics. I mean, clearly this is PS2 port era graphics, but I can stand that as long as the gameplay is impressive. I’ma try it anyway.

As expected, this game sucks.
Can’t be THAT bad, I thought Reservoir Dogs was enjoyable… for a few minutes. So this game has to be at least decent. On this one, I’m not going to buy into other people’s opinions, I’m playing it myself. Let’s hope it’s at least playable.
