(Took me 14-16 hours to download)

Hey all, It is 2010 as you see, post is not old at all.
If you want a working version of this game I have found a good link, and I will guide you through it.

~ Programs to have: All can be downloaded for free (or youtube HOW)

* BitTorrent
* WinRAR
* DAEMON Tools (lite)

~ After the download ~

Step 1: First of all, you will have a folder with Lots of files that basically will make no sense to you. This is where you use winRAR. You extract ALL files, all together into one folder. If extracted right it WILL form .ISO file.

Step 2: Mount the .ISO file using DAEMON Tools, it will let you open the folder. OPEN the folder. Once you opened it, you will see files that make sense, like Autorun and Setup, and Crack folder.

Step 3: Instal the game like you would any other game, DO NOT patch it (If it does, its ok)

Step 4: After the patch, go into crack folder, open “update” folder and update the game into “settlers_6_v1.5″ version, the one that it shows.

Step 5: Open the GAME folder, DO NOT PRESS “Play Settlers 6″, skip into Folders as followed: base > bin > NOW, go back to crack page, and copy then paste into the bin folder your “Settlers6″ File. (oh and yes, you do want to overrite settlers6 file). If all done as followed, you wont need Daemon tools to mount the CD anymore.

AND TA DA! Game works perfectly fine. No glitches, no crashes.

This game is now updated to version 1.6 with the autoupdater but the crack included is only for version 1.5 and there was another one for an unpatched game.

I am also looking to for a patch to fix the error that prevents moving t the second mission.

Is it a joke or something?This game has already been patched to v1.5 and reloaded has released it NOW?And the copy protection can be easilly fooled with the mini image from xkvtor and many versions of daemon tools!!!Why bother with a crack?!I downloaded the copy from CCD long ago and added the expantion pack released by procyon and everything is alright!Fix mass effect instead of this!

It was actually not a Clone CD release though, but IIRC, the group CLONECD actually made that release with a crack included. It got confusing since the group normaly didn’t release games with cracks, but that time they actually did.

I played this game through with the crack those nine months ago. Not as good as the first couple of games, but a lot better than installments three through five. This is actually the first settlers game since the second I actually feel deserves to be part of the series.
