CLONECD are back with a really nice release. Not usually known for their cracking skills (hence the name CLONECD) they have apparently beaten the Solidshield copy protection. Also make sure you grab the fix as well as CLONECD mucked up the first time around.

In The Settlers Rise of an Empire, the player builds lively, bustling towns in a medieval world. Everything is visible, lovingly animated and realistic. Each settler has his or her own daily routine, with a range of different actions and behaviors that can be observed by the player at all times. This enables the player to get the best out of the settlers, build up a flourishing economy, tend to the settlers’ needs and protect the empire against danger from the outside. By expanding the empire, the player can aspire to becoming a legendary king or queen.

The most popular features of the predecessors in the series have been retained and many of the fans’ desires and wishes were incorporated into the new game to create a very special Settlers atmosphere. The result is a realistic medieval world, captured in intricate detail.     poop, you have to mount with last daemon tools version
    and after that if it keeps asking for the original cd, go to the directory where you puted the crack and run the game
    it worked with me

    @104 I have the same problem as poop and I did exactly what everybody said. I installed it (mounted with DT 4.10), putted the fix in the bin directory and started the game from the bin directory and still it keeps asking my CD.

    Does anybody has a solution that works when it asks your CD?

    I am under vista x64 and it works fine, the crack is made of two files, put them both in your “THE SETTLERS – Rise of an Empire\base\bin” folder. The two files are “cld.dll” coming from the original crack and the “BBLua51.dll” coming from the fix.

    I have 32bit vista. i’ve put the crack in and mounted the image. whenever anything tries to access, whatever you wanna call it, the mounted file (on daemon 4.10) my system locks up. if it’s not mounted it just ask for the cd. Yes i use the settlers6.exe in base\bin. Just for the record i’m not an idiot i know there’s two files in the crack, and that i need to run the game under the base\bin settlers file as many people have already written that in there posts above. I don’t know what else to do but reinstall the game and try again, which i have, or find a no-cd/dvd crack which there are none of (that i know of). Thanks for the help

    I know that the crack consists of 2 pieces and I putted them both in the base/bin directory and started the game with settlers6.exe in the bin directory and still he asks for the CD. I’ve tried everything but still I can’t get it to work.

    Could it be that I need the mds/mdf files, because I downloaded the .iso version?

    K I have no idea why people are haveing so many problems with this i mounted with ach.120 vitural drive installed copied dlls went to play game and it asked for cd i remounted and plays fine finished it 2 hours ago game was kick *** and im running vista

    I’m having some problems with mission 4: Narfang. I can’t breach their walls without siege engines and since I don’t have access to them this early in the game, what should I do? I’ve been restarting this mission over for so many times I’m getting tired of it so if someone out there who has done this mission, please help. Many thanks in advance.

    I’ve the same problem with “Maui”. I tried letting the spy sneak into the prison but it can’t interact with the building :S really stuck here for hours. Anyone know how to get through this stuff?

    I instaled the game from a dvd. It is written in it after installation “Copy and overwrite the files from the Patch dir to base\bin of your installation directory”
    But there is no Patch folder. Where can i find one? Please help.

    About mission 4, search for a wooden wall, burn it down and kill ‘em all! Game works fine here too, still, to bad no one really cracked it the real way. clones sucks.

    hey guys.
    i dont have any problems with installing or running the game, just have the same problem as s.o. mentioned before. parts of my screen went black after i want o start a new campaign…i have the frames but e.g. i can’t see the characters of the “heroes”

    Yo I just figured this out. Turn down your graphic settings and things arnt just black. It’s prob just 1 of the bars so play around with it if you want decent graphics.

    To all of you with SYSTEM FREEZE while trying to access the mounted image:
    Are you, by a chance, running something on RAID? If you do the system will freeze as soon as you’ll try to access contents of the image (provided it resides on a RAID volume). Just copy the image file to a regular drive (non-RAID) and the problem shall be solved (worksforme)

    I’ve installed this fine and tried all of the cracks but I still get the “INSERT DVD” error. If I didn’t install the game with the latest daemon tools would that matter? I was using 4.09 when I installed it

    Hello! i don’t know what’s wrong. I use DEAMON 4.10. First of all I mounted Image and installed the game. After that i put the FIX (cld.dll and BBLua51.dll) to folder (Base/Bin) and i runned the game.
    It showed a window with information “Please insert CD/DVD”. In DEAMON emulation options all it’s ON. I tryed deffrent FIX all was bad. Please help.
    Sorry for my english butI’m little speak english.

    I found new idea on other forums which didn’t help me but It will help another. So… First Idea Try install 4.10.0218.0 Daemon Tools PRO.
    In Deamon tools add IDE virtual drive, in Deamon Emulations options – Switch All and Mount the Game.
    Second Idea Turn off CD drive in machine manager.

    I dont know it work. Say again It didn’t work at me.

    Hi, I have the game, its a cloded CD. I have installed it and downloaded and installed patch v1.2. I have DT installed but the game now asks for CD key. But I don’t have it can anyone please please send me a CD key in the alliaz_neo@hotmail.com

    My DT version is 4.10. I have tried all possible combination with fixed .dll’s on v1.0, v1.1 and v1.2. but none of these seems to work and it still looks for the DVD. I have made an Image file of the DVD with nero and mounted it on DT 4.10 and then installed again but with no success. My operating sys is Win XP. Can anyone please suggest a process. I have read all the forum entry, none of the works. Alternatively please send me a CD key in the alliaz_neo@hotmail.com

    It would be a great help. I don’t think your game would be damaged if u send me ur CD key after using it yourself.

    I had trouble mounting the *.mdf-file with the latest Daemon Tools version (4.10). I tryd version 4.09 (daemon4091-x86) and it finally mounts the image! Now you’ll be able to install the game.
    Maybe this solution will work for everybody with mounting-problems..

    now it’s patch v1.2 and still no crack yet :( And there’s even a map editor with the new version to create own maps.. but you can’t use the editor OR the user created maps without applying the patch..grrrr

    My recipe for making it work….

    1. Download
    2. Unrar
    3. Mount .mds with Deamon tools v4.10
    4. Install
    5. Download fix, unrar it.
    6. Copy the two .dll’s to your installation destination under the \base\bin
    7. Find cld.dll somewhere (was a link posted from #52) and copy it as well into the mentioned folder.
    8. Run the game from the settlers6.exe also found under \base\bin.

    This made it work for me. All that remains to see if it plays well. No serial was asked for. No updates were done. No runtime error.

    Hope this will help somebody….

    Hey, I have got it to work, finally. I have downloaded the CCD. Then unpacked it, used the fix and mounted it with DT 4.10. I think my problem was with the CD. The previous one I bought was not the Clone CD so I had this Prob. The Downloaded version works.

    It took me a month to download it, though, ha ha ha……

    hi guys,

    game running fine on vista here, isntalled game + dll + fix and voila! running P4 3.6GHz, GeForce 4 ti4200 and 1GB RAM.
    should be ok – but some graphics aren’t shown. most of the trees, all buildings… are just a grey or purple filled colour – no details ore anything to be seen. The shadows of these elements shows fine. i tried fiddling with graphic settings without any luck.

    others experienced the same and know how to fix , or got an suggestion!?

    I used the virtual drive of Alcohol120 to install and play and it worked fine. Then I made the mistake of burning the image directly to a dvd and trying to play it like that; for some reason it didn’t make a bib-by-bit copy and the game wont load from it. Now I have to redownload the image since it can only from from the image. Great >.>

    hi, i have installed the last DT it kept tell me its a blank-cd.
    My file are not .mds etc, its an .iso file. i have tried all powerISO ultraISO DT, cant mount the file on any !!!
    If someone can help me, ill be glad.

    Allright. I was very frustrated, when i couldn’t find a no-cd patch to the v1.3. But I managed to get it working! Fairly simple really. Heres a guide to get this working for all newcommers:

    1) Download the torrent
    2) Download and Install the latest version of Daemon Tools. I’m running DAEMON Tools Lite 4.11.1
    3) Unrar the torrent content, mount the image file and Install the game and copy the files from the torrents “patch” folder to the games “base/bin” folder
    4) Download the fix, perhaps here: http://rapidshare.com/files/58807644/SettlerS6_FiX.rar
    5) Copy the files from the fix to the “base/bin” folder, overwrite the other junk
    6) When you start the game, it will automaticly patch to version 1.3, disabling the no-cd from the torrent. If you want the 1.3 patch, don’t despair. Let it download and install.
    7) After the 1.3 patch has installed, You need to UNMOUNT your image file from Daemon tools.
    8) Find and run the exe file in the games “base/bin” folder
    9)The game can’t find your disc, so WITHOUT closing the error box, you have to mount the image file in Daemon Tools, close the auto-run and click “retry”
    10) Should be working now

    Did not work for me :( i still get the screen where you must have an activation code after installing 1.3 patch. I have followed all the steps and even tried serveral times installing everything from scratch, but the base/bin/settlers6.exe just takes me to the same screen with activation.

    9)The game can’t find your disc, so WITHOUT closing the error box, you have to mount the image file in Daemon Tools, close the auto-run and click “retry”

    To #159 you need to update to latest SPTD 1.55 and then it shuld work :)

    ok heres my problem! ive download this it has about 71 files in it about 66 rar files now ive tried to unpack it all and everything but i get no mds or mdf file. all i get is this .iso file wich i try to open with daemon and nothing happens can some1 plz help me im stumped!!

    #157 is a genius. As others stated, this only works with SPTD 1.55+ (I used Daemon Tools Pro 4.10 which had SPTD 1.50, and just updated SPTD separately). Note that this does NOT work with the new mini-image that just went up on gamingcopyworld – I had to mount the actual clonecd. Works just as described.

    Update v1.3 without S/N

    1) Daemon-tools v4.10 PRO + new SPTDinst-v155-x86.exe
    2) Install from source (ccd-set6.mdf)
    3) After install, no fix, no crack
    4) Install update v1.3 (official site)
    5) Mount mini image (SETTLERS6_EU_(NORMAL_TAGES_MAXI_IMAGE#2_BY_XKVTOR).mds), or EXPERIMENTAL
    6) Thats all, game work fine, no ask for S/N

    Tested on WinXP SP2. Use Google to find the files.

    - not a bad game

    – the guy who brings the boat in gets a little anoying at times .. announcing his arriving and leaving, constantly.

    – if mission 5 is in the snow where with the final part you have drop an avalanche on the path way. it crashed for me there too. – work around (if it can be called that) start the mission by sending your hero up to kill the wolves asap. so when the 2nd mission pops (woolen jackets) you should have already killed enough wolves and are able to buy sheep straight up. 2-3 flocks is enough. – if you pull that quest off. there is no need for the fourth quest, as long as you do the other 2.

    – break out quest, as someone mentioned .. go down the river a little and bust the wall open and go in through there.

    – for myself, i’m stuck on some mission with 3 allies but are being constantly attacked by the scarlet prick.(mission 12 or 13)

    – anyone have a strat to pull this one off ?

    – i’ve tried pretty much everything, all out conquer land ect only to have the scarlet prick attack my territory when i don’t even have a military building. focused gathering without expansion, by the time i’m just getting my army together its’ too late, pink ally gets destroyed.

    – anyone have a strat to pull this one off?

    I found a fix for the “all black” problem…
    I just downloaded the DirectX9..
    and the game finaly got “unblack” haahaha

    Hello everyone, i have an original The settlers rise of an empire disc. When i put the disc in the cd drive, the cd dribve does not read it and after i look in the drive, it says that it is empty. Please help , thanks.

    Hi

    after reviewing this and countless other sites i finally managed to get it to work. None of the suggestions thus far state the exact methods so here goes.

    First i suggest yuo download the settlers 6 + cd clone verios thats out there. Personally i got it from alt.binaries.cd.image as im nota fan of slow torrents. This for me seemed to be the stumbling block. I had downloaded a version without the crack and downloaded the crack later after coming here but it seems these two were incompatible no matter how many times i tried and followed all the instructins. So if yuo have a version without the patch i suggest just burning it to a CD/dvd (i used nero) and deleteing/uninstalling it from yuor comp as it prob aint gonna work.

    Once i downloaded the other verion it was a simple case of
    Install
    copy patch to Ubisoft\THE SETTLERS – Rise of an Empire\base\bin
    start from icon in the same location
    play game.

    Now i should point out that as i’d been mucking about for hours when i loaded the game i had the previously burned verion of settlers 6 in my ‘real’ dvd drive and the mounted verion from DT. Also i had demon tools lite 4.12 (after reading the posts here id downloaded it) not sure if it is necessary to update demon tools (previously had 4.05 i think) or to have the burned verion in the actual dvd drive but just in case.

    Also i suggest either disconnecting when installing/playing or immediatly remove the update program from Ubisoft\THE SETTLERS – Rise of an Empire\base\support\GameUpdate\ S6GameUpdate

    This git makes settlers auto update and then asks for serial number and online activiation once installed. As no-one has figured out how to get round this i suggest not allowing it to update (also there does not seem to be an option to stop the update apart from deleting this program).

    I had the problem of the entire pc just freezing before you could even click setup. But the problem is solved by just burning the .iso file on a dvd, and installing it from the dvd.

    I got disappoint that I can't play without serial after updating Patch v1.6. You know, I have ORIGINAL DVD the settler: the rise of Empire GOLD EDITION…unfortunately, my CD label has no key. I had tried to activiate via online, so the server refused it in several times!! I need SERIAL but don't call me the cracks and copied. thanks. Please send the serial via my email: chris_88898@live.com. I am saying that I also had read ABOVE of commentiary,,but it is impossible to help!

    I've updated to v1.7 via auto updater, and it doesn't ask for a cd key. But I still have a problem with a black screen. I've red all 181 comments, but none of them made my game up and running.
    If some one have any idea how to solve this "black screen" problem, I would appreciate it.
