The Settlers VI Rise Of An Empire-CLONECD

CLONECD are back with a really nice release. Not usually known for their cracking skills (hence the name CLONECD) they have apparently beaten the Solidshield copy protection. Also make sure you grab the fix as well as CLONECD mucked up the first time around.

In The Settlers Rise of an Empire, the player builds lively, bustling towns in a medieval world. Everything is visible, lovingly animated and realistic. Each settler has his or her own daily routine, with a range of different actions and behaviors that can be observed by the player at all times. This enables the player to get the best out of the settlers, build up a flourishing economy, tend to the settlers’ needs and protect the empire against danger from the outside. By expanding the empire, the player can aspire to becoming a legendary king or queen.

The most popular features of the predecessors in the series have been retained and many of the fans’ desires and wishes were incorporated into the new game to create a very special Settlers atmosphere. The result is a realistic medieval world, captured in intricate detail. The game features an immersive, yet transparent economic system based on the resources, wares and goods produced by the settlers in their various trades and occupations.

Features:

  • Create big, bustling medieval cities: Plot your expansion, manage your resources wisely and provide for your people. The Settlers Rise of an Empire offers gameplay that is easy to pick up and allows everybody from newbies to strategy experts to enjoy the game.
  • Protect your citizens and your empire: Build up armies, vehicles and walls to protect your empire. Everything depends on your economy: Is your empire wealthy enough to supply a powerful defense force?
  • Exciting multiplayer experience: Work together with one friend and play against another team: Will your division of labor be efficient enough to beat your opponent?
  • A full living, detailed atmosphere: The RenderWare engine creates an extremely detailed universe with numerous plants, animals and other details that will attract the player.
  • Four climatic zones: The four climatic zones and four seasons have full impact on recourse management and gameplay.
  • Natural interaction of Settlers: All Settlers have their own daily lives and they interact naturally with each other.

System Requirements:

  • Windows XP, Windows XP (64-bit), Windows Vista, Windows Vista (64-bit)
  • DirectX 9.0c (June 2007 release)
  • Pentium 4 2.0 GHz, Athlon XP 2000+ processor

vinfinite: had the same problem, was running vista with DT 4.08 and managed to crash pretty much everything, have switched back to XP x64 and it seems to be running just fine so far.

  17. EoN
    September 24th, 2007 | 15:27

Are there more people getting Runtime errors when they try to play the Campaign or Custom game.
I get a R6002 Error with the message ‘floating-point support not loaded’
Installing the game caused no errors. Dvd-Image is fine and running the SFV gave no errors.
Any more people having this problem and maybe someone who has a solution.
Running WinXP and meet the recommended requirements with enough to spare.

    Possible causes

    * The program was compiled or linked with an option, such as /FPi87, that requires a coprocessor, but the program was run on a machine that did not have a coprocessor installed.
    * A format string for a printf or scanf function contained a floating-point format specification and the program did not contain any floating-point values or variables.
    * The compiler minimizes a program’s size by loading floating-point support only when necessary. The compiler cannot detect floating-point format specifications in format strings, so it does not load the necessary floating-point routines.
    * Use a floating-point argument to correspond to the floating-point format specification, or perform a floating-point assignment elsewhere in the program. This causes floating-point support to be loaded.
    * In a mixed-language program, a C library was specified before a FORTRAN library when the program was linked. Relink and specify the C library last.

    September 26th, 2007 | 11:27

Same problem as the guys above. I’m experienced with Daemon Tools and installing games like these, but under Vista as soon as I try and install my whole system hangs, not good.

I have the latest DT 4.10 etc etc.

Might have to wait for a decent rip to come out.

    September 26th, 2007 | 12:38

    HI
i have vista with the latest DT install 4.10 i think ?
and it install find, all i need now is a working NO-CD crack

41,42 open up the mount drive and run setup.exe as admin this should help with the hang, i have the same problems sometimes when install nero and other software

  44. pyps
    September 26th, 2007 | 13:28

Installed it with dt 4.10 really easy. Then just putted 2 files from crack and replaced 1 file from Fix.its all working here with no problem. Also got a thing with insert cd(after i turned off pc) but somehow i managed to run it again with no problem.(dont remember how exactly/tryed to replace fix+crack/also i opened cd on dt 4.10 and after that game started again).

  45. Hellion
    September 26th, 2007 | 13:52

I can’t even right-click on the setup file to select ‘run as admin’ with it becoming unresponsive. Task manager won’t even come up.

  46. Saber
    September 26th, 2007 | 14:29

This is what i do >

    1. Download the latest Daemon Tool (4.10)and install
    2. Burn the .mds and .mdf with the patch folder (without mount the mds - meaning direct burn) (in case u want to keep this on your hdd, pls skip >_

  47. Saber
    September 26th, 2007 | 14:31

    3. After burn, run Daemon Tool and mount the .mds file that burned on dvd
    4. Install the game
    5. Copy all the .dll file in patch folder to base/bin in the game folder (use the fixed BBLua51.dll here)
    6. Without unmount the image.. run the game…
    7. Have fun ^_^

dunno if it works in Vista coz i test it in XP SP2

    good luck

  48. Saber
    September 26th, 2007 | 14:35

3.5 the new drive will show up… if your windows do autorun, the autorun will open

    LOL miss that one >_

  49. htown
    September 26th, 2007 | 16:18

I did all that now it wont load because it says CLD.DLL cant be found.

guess ill just wait for a different version

  50. danzig7766
    September 26th, 2007 | 18:13

ok ppl i got it to work with vista

before you install anything you need to copy/replace the currupted dll file with the “fix” dll file {the instructions say do this after you install but if you do you will get the msg “no dll file found try reinstalling” when you try and play the game

now what I did was at this point i burned the files to a dvd+R disc with nero {i tried to burn the “image” but on my nero there was no option for the “mdf”or whatever it was so i just burned it with nero as a data disc.

once i did that i took out the disc and mounted, the biggest file which was the “mdf” with daemon 4.10

then i installed the game from the new drive that daemon created, and when i started to play it said “insert orignal disc” put in the data disc and it worked.

hope someone finds this info usefull

  51. JARNO THE GREAT
    September 26th, 2007 | 21:22

BOYS TRY THIS AT HOME. (for me it works now).

use the FIX(the dll) to get around the R6002 error. Than I got the “please insert the origal disk “- error.

START WITH AUTORUN FILE FROM THE MOUNTED DVD/CD.

then for me the game starts with NO problems.
Let me know if it works for you.

  52. htown
    September 27th, 2007 | 03:11

For those like me who can’t install on Vista due to the system freezing up, I mounted the image on another PC running XP and copied the files off the image and put them on the Vista PC. I could then install the game using these files without freezing.

It seems like there is an issue for some people reading from the mounted image using DT on Vista.

  54. Hellion
    September 27th, 2007 | 08:46

Still freezes when trying to run the game though :(

  55. Bob
    September 27th, 2007 | 08:49

It looks like Installshield have fucked up. The installer crashes on my SP1 XP but on my friend’s SP2 it works fine.

  56. FURKAN
    September 27th, 2007 | 14:24

    then upgrade to sp2 :P

  57. Michlos
    September 27th, 2007 | 19:05

As mentioned in comment #51 you might have to start it from the autorun menu on the mounted disk or it might give you problem and complain about inserting the CD/DVD.

I can play the game fine but when I try to save it will dump to the desktop. Not sure why.

    Hi,
I need a no-cd crack.. I updated the game, and now he asks for a serial number. Can someone help me plz?

  66. Try this!
    September 28th, 2007 | 17:29

After install is complete unmount it from Daemon 4.10. Run .exe file. At this point it will ask you for the CD. Do not close this window. NOW you mount the image (If the game loads automatically don’t choose PLAY but choose exit)and click Retry on that same window. Wait a minute if you still have P4.

  67. Joetjuhh
    September 28th, 2007 | 17:43

That’s not the problem. I installed it before. And I played it before. But today I want to play again, but he updated the game. So now he asks for a Serial Number, and i can’t find it anywhere, can someone help me out please?

I did the same mistake and “patched” it. The solution at this moment is simple: uninstall and then reinstall the game (save your game profile). :)

Very neat game, I should sleep less to free more time for playing it. :) JK.

    September 29th, 2007 | 13:28

Hell I’d be happy if the damn thing ran. I’ve tried all the “fixes” here and managed to get it installed. However, it locks Vista up when you run the game. The little spinning CD icon flashes, like it’s checking the disk and *bam* lock up.

I’ll hope a real no-cd fix is in the works somewhere.

  74. subzero
    September 29th, 2007 | 18:43

Before a ‘crack’ for the new 1.1 Patch get’s submitted, a ‘fix’ as stated earlier would be to uninstall game, while doing so, choose No, when it asks if you wan’t to delete your save games and profiles. Once installed and run, click No, as soon as it asks if you wan’t to patch your game..

    Works like a ‘Charm!’

    *Short Version*
    * Uninstall Game
    * Install Game
    * Choose No. to Update!
    * ???
    * Profit!

  75. Help please
    September 30th, 2007 | 03:18

I just finished dling this and mounted the mdf file with Daemon tools 4.1. The problem is when I go to open the virtual drive I get the message:

“Windows cannot read from this disk. The disk might be corrupted, or it could be using a format that is not compatible with Windows.”

While it might just be corrupted, I was just wondering if I was missing something along the way (not too experienced with mounting).

@79 - This is the first release I’ve had issues with getting to work with Vista. I have the same OS as you (Vista Ultimate X86) and have it updated as well. I’m going to download it again to make sure it’s not a corrupt file issue.

  83. zafo
    October 1st, 2007 | 13:37

Come on people, this release works great with the fix except the common bugs which are the developers’ fuck up. Just don’t update the game to 1.1 as there isn’t a way to circumvent online activation as of now, launch the game from the exe file in the \bin folder of the installation folder, or prevent the auto updater from updating with zone alarm or some other firewall. You can’t come here and yell at people giving you something for free when you’re not even capable of following simple instructions. Read the fucking .nfo.

By the way, you don’t need battering rams and you don’t have access to them in the 4th mission. Just work your brain a little, this is a strategy game.

    As @ 83 Put it.

Read the NFO file, read the comment’s and play the game, like it’s meant to be played :D

    I’m loving it so far!

    83 & 85:

I think most people, including myself, are capable of reading an .nfo file. Most of us can following simple instructions. There are far too many people having problems with this release to blow it off to noobs not being able to read a “fucking” .nfo. I’m glad it works for you two. It doesn’t, however, work for me and a lot of other people after following the instructions and using fixes posted here and other places.

Perhaps you can “read” that. Have a nice day.

For me the game worked fine, well, almost. I had to replace a couple of DLLs with the ones mentioned on this post. Other than that, everything is alright. Right now I am in the 13th mission and really enjoying the game, though it’s a bit slow at times. Graphics are really good and if you have a decent video card then you can enjoy this one in it’s full glory.

well this download works just fine, just download a game fix in gamecopyworld extract it in your bin directory and click yes to replace the files, and start it by using the settlers exe in your bin directory so that the game will not look for patch files

Got it working too (after a while)

    BUT!

    Minimun game requirments:

    Pentium 4 1.8, Athlon 1800+
    512 MB RAM
100% DirectX 9.0c compatible graphics card with 64 MB RAM
NVIDIA GeForce4 Ti or better, ATI RADEON 9500 or better

On my Athlon 3000+, 1024 RAM, ATI RADEON X1300 it’s almost not even playable with all settings at the lowest :(

Also there’s a few bugs (that ubi have a path for that i can’t apply since there is no crack yet :P)

Else this would have been a smashhit!

I don’t understand why most of you make all these problems. The game runs fine without the update. (i’m beginning campaign level 16 for the moment). I think it will be finished before anyone comes with a serial number.

Fantastic game by the way, but I loved the fifht edition a bit more. (Heritage of Kings)

    Many regards.

P.S. DO TAKE THE EFFORT TO READ ALL OF THE COMMENTARY’S ABOVE ! It will help you
