If u wanna to play last version of Settlers 6 rise of an empire or eastern realm just update last game patch and use mini image "NS_S6ROECHT_SS_poseden" mounted in Daemon Tools Pro v4.30.0303 Advanced version.

Okkay So .. .

If someone still struggling ..

What i did and it is working for me both game ..

Install the basic game, crack it, No update !!!
Install the Expansion , Do Nothing No update !!!
You`ll need Daemon Tools Pro Agent, mount the basic game into a SCSI Drive and than Start the Expansion .. Enjoy !!

Thats All Folks … Oh thats all in Xp, Vista is Sucks …

hmm,… i don’t solve this problem yet.

only install original game is fine

crack is not need. play well

but, after expansion pack installed

problem happen ‘need original DVD blah.’

my DT ver.4.12.3

i can’t think anything

Oh, forgot to add, copied over the original crack dll files before it updated as well (v1.0 fix)- files still present after updating – dont know if this makes a difference.

Hi Guys, had a disk in my drive and this prompted the “please insert correct disk … blah blah”

installed game, then expansion, updated to v1.5, mounted original in DAEMON Tools 4.10 with all options on and it worked fine – no problems expannsion and original storyline play just fine.

Don’t think there is anything too tricky here – virtual drive is drive G: on my PC.

Hope this works for you too (only took me 5 min to get it running

Removing the cd’s or dvd’d from the drives worked for me too… but only if the mini-image is mounted on a virtual IDE-drive in Daemon tools (mine’s 4.10.218 pro advanced). Mounting it on a virtual SCSI-drive doesn’t work no more with me…

I also haven’t updated the game. Good luck

to those that cant play it:

1- Install the original game, than the expansion
2- Let the game be updated to v1.5
3- Install latest Daemon Tools atm 4.12.3, reboot if needed
4- Mount the original game with DT
5- Play the expansion

I had trouble yet again on my wife’s computer. Oddly enough the problem was the game trying to read my physical dvd drive instead of the daemon tools emulated dvd drive (you could hear the dvd drive spin up when I tried loading the game), the problem was solved after taking the cd out that was in the dvd drive.

How strange.

Btw, my copy of the game is fully updated with all the patches and that didn’t seem to cause any problems.
