The Settlers Rise Of An Empire The Eastern Realm-PROCYON

Guys from group PROCYON releases a new expansion pack for famous Settlers serie. I still remember playing Settlers I many years ago and it was an excellent title so to say. I tried these new installments of Settlers too, but it’s nowhere as good as the original. Anyway, The Eastern Realm is a mission pack for The Settlers 6: Rise Of An Empire - this means you need the original game to install this new title. No need to crack this release as it comes unprotected.

The Settlers: Rise of an Empire – The Eastern Realm is the first add-on to The Settlers: Rise of an Empire. The Goddess of the Green Fire doesn’t like the old Eastern Empire which is now under your rule. So as any good enemy, she threatens the current state of peace and has to be eliminated. But yours is not the only state in the Eastern Realm that is threatened by the presence of the Goddess so the beautiful Saraya, only child of Praphat, Mogul of Hidun, allies herself with you. The is the only new hero the add-on adds to the game and her passive abilities lowers not only the building price of trading posts but also makes it cheaper to buy resources there. Her activate ability is to demand tribute from other factions.

Besides the new hero, the most obvious new addition is the climate. Much like in the winter scenarios in the original, not everything can be produced in a desert and the new weather pattern monsoon can make whole areas inaccessible due to floods. Honey, fish and corn are none existent there. To help the player to overcome these handicaps a bit, the add-on brings two new buildings to the game: the fountain and the trading post. While the fountain saves up water during the rain season which can then be used during the dry season, the trading post allows the player to engage in trading with the other factions. There are also a few new decorative objects available including a triumphal arch and a sun-dial.

    just asks for original CD…original game will play w/ the cracked .dll’s, but the expansion won’t and there’s no updated crack :(

    @21 does ıt allow you play the game with the orıgınal game mounted on the vırtual drıve????

    have you tried a fixed IMAGE for the first game anyway ???lemme know if it plays the game with orıgınal game ımage MOUNTED?

    Followed instructions in the nfo: installed original RoaE, then expansion, mounted original RoaE again, attempted to run expansion (without letting it patch) and I get “Please insert original DVD of THE SETTLERS - Rise of an Empire”.

    I’ve tried installing the crack for original RoaE, still no luck.

    Seems like others are having this problem too.

    Well, i’ve battled with this problem for hours, mounting and unmounting, experimenting with different images etc.
    And then accidentaly i clicked retry on the “insert correct cd etc” message. I thought that it may not be such a bad idea and i’ve decided to spam it with retries ^^
    Guess what, it worked and the game started on my fourth click.

    i always avoided updating the original game because the cracked dlls stopped working…but this one works fine after updating and mounting the original clonecd image in daemon tools lite 4.12.2..very strange, but it does play

    Problem fixed. After reading Viper’s comment I realized that my daemon tools was out of date by a version or two, after updating the game runs fine now. Just make sure that daemon tools and original settlers are both updated.

    I had trouble yet again on my wife’s computer. Oddly enough the problem was the game trying to read my physical dvd drive instead of the daemon tools emulated dvd drive (you could hear the dvd drive spin up when I tried loading the game), the problem was solved after taking the cd out that was in the dvd drive.

    How strange.

    Btw, my copy of the game is fully updated with all the patches and that didn’t seem to cause any problems.

    to those that cant play it:

    1- Install the original game, than the expansion
    2- Let the game be updated to v1.5
    3- Install latest Daemon Tools atm 4.12.3, reboot if needed
    4- Mount the original game with DT
    5- Play the expansion

    Removing the cd’s or dvd’d from the drives worked for me too… but only if the mini-image is mounted on a virtual IDE-drive in Daemon tools (mine’s 4.10.218 pro advanced). Mounting it on a virtual SCSI-drive doesn’t work no more with me…

    I also haven’t updated the game. Good luck :-)

    Hi Guys, had a disk in my drive and this prompted the “please insert correct disk … blah blah”

    installed game, then expansion, updated to v1.5, mounted original in DAEMON Tools 4.10 with all options on and it worked fine - no problems expannsion and original storyline play just fine.

    Don’t think there is anything too tricky here - virtual drive is drive G: on my PC.

    Hope this works for you too (only took me 5 min to get it running :)

    Oh, forgot to add, copied over the original crack dll files before it updated as well (v1.0 fix)- files still present after updating - dont know if this makes a difference.

    Okkay So .. .

    If someone still struggling ..

    What i did and it is working for me both game ..

    Install the basic game, crack it, No update !!!
    Install the Expansion , Do Nothing No update !!!
    You`ll need Daemon Tools Pro Agent, mount the basic game into a SCSI Drive and than Start the Expansion .. Enjoy !!

    Thats All Folks … Oh thats all in Xp, Vista is Sucks …
