You have many hours of fun puzzle solving and lots of laughs awaiting you. I haven't tried this remake yet but I'm sure it's as good as the original so definitely worth buying!

Hi guys. I've just downloaded it, extracted the files then burned the iso image and installed the game but it won't run. It comes up with a notification window saying "Steam error – Application load error 5:0000065434". Do I need steam installed to play this?

I dont really care for the look of this remake but I think they were trying to preserve the same look as the original but just updating the graphics to highres and more colors vs completely changing it.

Just bought it. It's cool. Never got a chance to play this classic. Now's the time.
I haven't played this version yet, but if they have managed to retain the actual original feeling and aesthetics, and for the pictures alone it does exactly that, I can't recommend this adventure enough to any new game player in general. This is one of the most amazing adventures and games ever made and the "outdated" graphics can't ruin the experience, if you aren't just a spoiled brat. It's and awesome game and a landmark of the genre. Don't miss it!

Hehe…I first played it with my beloved Amiga and I'm so glad that I had the chance to live the era when graphics were not the alpha and the omega of everything. It's one of the most sophisticated and funny/hilarious at the same time adventures ever made, one that redefined the genre and I think that they have made a great job in "re-incarnating" the original spirit. It's a game that never truly needed crappy 3d effects…just a few neat touches here and there to make it seem as fresh as ever. Respect to Ron Gilbert for this amazing game and to the music composers for one of the most famous music scores in the adventure history.

I've just checked it out and it's amazing, so I will be buying it.
However, you have to understand I forked out for games like Bully, silent hill 5 and GTA IV which were riddled with bugs, or games that were just pure crap and whose company deserve to go bust. I use this site now as a "try before you buy" system.
And for the record, I still have the boxed versions of Monkey Island 1-4.

Alright, I downloaded the "reloaded" torrent. I unpacked it, burnt it onto a dvd and installed it, but now I can't find the crack to replace the exe with. Am I missing something? Was there a seperate url to download the crack from?

seriously, is there a link for just the crack? The only torrent I found turned out to be a virus.
Look inside the iso file with right click explorer. Than you can see the crack file. Copy paste this file in your game directory and the adventure can begin.

This game is absolutely incredible! They've done an amazing job updating it and I hope they will remake more of their classic games. It makes me realise how crap most modern adventures are.
