What a great release by SAPHiRE! Finally we get the DVDRip of this very highly-rated Comedy/Drama film, which was nominated for 2 oscars (Laura Linney for Best Actress, Tamara Jenkins for Best Writing, Screenplay Written Directly for the Screen). It’s obvious that any comedy that’s able to score 90% on RT and 7.9 on IMDB is well worth the try, even more so when it stars phenomenal actors like Philip Seymour Hoffman and Laura Linney. Oh yes, this 114-minute movie has standard video and audio for a DVDRip.

Synopsis: Director Tamara Jenkins made audiences sit for nearly a decade for her follow-up to the hilarious dark comedy SLUMS OF BEVERLY HILLS, but it’s been worth the wait. Like her previous film, THE SAVAGES is a sometimes-funny, sometimes-sad look at family dynamics, but this time around the sense of humor is more wry than riotous.
