The Sarah Connor Chronicles S01E01 PREAIR DVDRip XviD-CRX
A full length, 60 minute made for TV movie called the ‘Sarah Connor Chronicles’ is pre’d by unknown to me group CRX. It is in non-wide screen 4:3, but the quality is clear and DVDRip. The whole jist of this TV movie is to give us an idea on what happens with Sarah and John Connor after the events of T2: Judgement day, and apparently T3 plays no effect in the timeline as the events are based on a different timeline. According to TV.com, this episode is set to air on January 1, 2008. It is a special treat that we get to download and watch it five months before it airs! The Sarah Connor Chronicles is an American television series scheduled to debut on the U.S. television network Fox in early 2008, Sundays at 9 PM Eastern. It is a continuation of the Terminator film franchise. Produced by Warner Bros. Television and C2-Pictures, it will revolve around the life of Sarah Connor, and her son, John Connor after the events of Terminator 2: Judgment Day. The series is being executive produced by Terminator 3 producers and C2 Pictures co-presidents Mario Kassar and Andrew G. Vajna, C2 Senior Vice President James Middleton, David Nutter, and Josh Friedman, who is also writing.

This television series is set between T2 and T3. It IS set within the same timeline, but the events of T3 have not yet happened. (kind of like a T2 sequel and T3 prequel).

After watching the trailer, I was keen myself untill I saw the Supermodel ‘not a day over 17′ Termintor. FFS, gimme a goddamn break. Gone are the awesome days where we see real hardcore tough bitches like Linda Hamilton in T2, and Sigourney Weaver in Alien and Aliens. You would of thought they learnt from T3, guess not. Sorry, but Supermodel Terminators just don’t cut it with me. If I was John Connor, I’d ask her if she was programmed to suck my d**k. ‘Come with me if you want to live’, ‘Yeh ok, but before I do, what colour panties you wearing ?’

Summer Glau the “not a day over 17 titless freak” knows how to do action, just check Firefly and Serenity. She’s a ballet dancer which means she does the coreography fluidly.

This Pilot was utter crap. I’m in shock, that someone wasted money filming this.
Summer Glau is off the hook… and the terminator franchise could use a nice shot in the arm, but this looks like yet another desperate attempt for Fox. What’s really scary is, if it evolves into something good, knowing Fox, they’d cancel it anyway (Firefly).
This makes no sense, if you were sending a robot back from the future and could do all kinds of cool tech stuff, surely her tits would be bigger?

I didnt think John Conner was supposed to be banging anyone in the show anyway….
After leaving the franchise for too long they managed to update it get it up to speed and on a roll in the pilot.
Hopefully this will ignore everything that happened in T3 and run for as long as possible.
There is no reason that a Terminator TV wont work - No reason why it cannot be made on a TV budget.
In they ever decided to make a T4 you know it would carry on from T3 and be rubbish cos of that.
It doesnt need Arnie either - anyone who thinks its crap just dont watch it - some people are never happy…
firstly I’d like to add that T3 was a great addition to the series, if you didn’t like it, then why the hell are you even here?
also, the Terminator story can work as series (whoever said it couldn’t clearly doesn’t have a clue how TV shows work)

This could be good. Might not go the way of Firefly, but could go the way Dark Angel {which was not that good anyway} did, knowing Fox, that is.
Seems like T3 is completely pushed of the picture, since they took place in 2004. Surprised me to find that Summer Glau’s character is the good terminator. She fits the part, except so far she’s not doing very well at portraying an emotionless robot.

Episode was OK worth downloading and would be interested to watch the series when it airs. I was put of film to tv franchises when blade the series was just bad all round :-bad acting, bad action, bad characters and bad story.
When is Futurama coming to comedy central I have not heard anything more about it?

The version of the pilot I have is 77 minutes long, not 60 as suggested here. The show is excellent, but since its on Fox I doubt we’ll see more than 3 episodes. Too bad SciFi didn’t get this. Like everything else on SciFi it is filmed in Vancouver…
It’s a lot better than I expected it to be. Perhaps they ruined the pilot with a 60 minute cut?

I’ve been complete breathless over the course of watching the pilot episode. I had my expectations and the pilot surely delivers.
Good plot, interesting characters (the minor characters are really interesting), and great action (everyone in the main cast has a piece of the action).
I’d have to say that Sarah Connor Chronicles is promising. I don’t know about you, but I think we’ve got another Dark Angel on our hands.
