The Ruins CAM XViD-CamJaCkerS
Well finally a post of a more familiar movie after a rather long break 
I’m just about to go to sleep as I have to be up in 4 hours and group CamJaCkerS bring us a cam of The Ruins as their second release ever. I’m usually not a big horror person and this doesn’t attract my attention that much at all, but its just one of those movies that you watch because it might end up to be something anyway. I’d wait for a DVDRip or R5 at the very least unless your into cams.
Quality: I’d expect a nuke for bad crop as there are black borders all over the video making the ar 1.33 but the movie would actually end up having a different ratio if the video had been cropped properly. Besides that its your typical cam so don’t get worked up over it, wait for a better quality to see this.
Based on the novel by A Simple Plan author Scott Smith, director Carter B. Smith’s Yucatan-set thriller follows four American tourists as they unwisely venture off the beaten path while vacationing in Cancun. When a friendly German tourist implores the Americans to help search the jungle for his missing brother, the group becomes hopelessly trapped in a nightmare scenario that seems too strange to be true.

just noticed.
This is not showing here in my country (Asian) so it’s impossible to say that some local got it using camera. But the pirated copy of this movie has been here in the street since saturday. same also happened with Nim’s island. So my question is whats the source of this pirated copy? i compare this release to the street copy here, it’s almost the same. same also with Nim’s island.
I also noticed last year with the release of War.TS.Prevail(? - not sure w/ group) where that movie not shown here but Torrent community didnt have it; til got released after 2 days in the street here.
so may be its true, the scenes and torrenters are not the 1st releasers, “Sometimes”. what do you think?

I don’t understand why you even bother to post a piece of crap like this! The quality is so bad it’s not worth anybody’s time to download it, or even worth your time to upload the darn thing. Don’t get me wrong, I have downloaded some cams, but they were at least “watchable cams.” When the uploader himself has to comment that the quality is so bad that it will “probably be nuked” and to “wait for a better quality release,” why waste all of our time posting garbage like this??? I just don’t get it man!

I saw this movie at the theatre on Sunday night…What a waste of $9.95! It has no plot, is barely an hour and a half long, and it’s like they knew the movie had no point to it so they just went overboard with the gore! I love gory movies, but even I was ready to walk out of the theatre halfway through this movie. Total crap

Very good movie if you like horror and also good if you dont. Pretty decent quality but sadly not good enough, THANKS FOR TRYING (: if you guyz want to see it DL it or go to the theater to see it (Worth the cash) also maybe watchable on PSP= still have to check.

This release is definitely watchable, no hands,heads,cam dips. On a scale comparing with only cams. this would be a solid 7. I would rate the “21″ cam as a 2. Keep in mind in my opinion even the “best” cam on a dvdrip rating scale would be a 1. Thanks for the upload. Why complain. Use meda player classic and just expand the video output to full-screen. I use vga ouptut to a 42 inch plasma, and this release is viewable.

As to a group purposely releasing a “flawed” release, I think probably Not. I am as speculative/paranoid about motivations but I bet the person that took the original cam source which was probably low resolution horizontal length. just encoded it without zooming the resolution which would not increase or better the quality more than what we can do on our end. My two cents…

Saw this on the weekend… at first it feels like it’s going to turn into Hostel but it doesn’t… overall average horror flick… a hot blonde though.
