The Romantic Fool 2007 DVDRip XViD-BiEN
An Asian scene group BiEN released another interesting dvdrip today: The Romantic Fool is a romantic story filmed by Hong Kong production which tries to attract on slightly different values - a majority of Asian production is way different than classic American movies, and this one seems quite promising. Quality is perfect once again, these guys know their job really good.
Dennis Chan possesses almost three decades’ experience in marketing and production in Hong Kong’s show biz, and has directed, written, and produced quite a few films. Joining the supporting cast of some famous Hong Kong films, he is probably best remembered by Hong Kong cinema fans as the wacky school principal in Stephen Chow’s Fight Back to School. His latest directorial piece, The Romantic Fool, his first film made in Mainland China, stars Jia Zhongchao (a.k.a. Spirit Blue) from Men Suddenly in Black and model-turned-actress Cathy Chui, who is married to the son of one of Hong Kong’s richest tycoons. Veterans like Eric Tsang and Elaine Jin also join the cast.
Young girl Xia moves into a house in a remote village to write her novel. The mailbox of an abandoned house opposite to hers has been jammed with letters sent to someone whose name is Yao Shuman. Xia finally gets in touch with Yao, but Yao asks her to burn all the letters. Out of curiosity, Xia reads all those letters and uncovers the love story between Yao and “a romantic fool” seven years ago…

Does this really come with English subtitle? I downloaded but didn’t see any subtitle at all. Where can I download the subtitle file?
try lookin in the NFO, curious. sometimes it will have link/address to download subs(open in notepad(if u didnt know)). it did for “ils” dunno bout this 1, yet ;).
k, so the subs link int in the NFO. it seems to indicate the subs should be in the torrent files…guess u will have to do a search….i have had a quick look on subscene and there is nothin there as yet…keep pluggin!!
Most foreign film releases mentioned here have no subs included, even if the info says they do. Pretty lame that the bloggers don’t check this themselves. Show you they only make half-assed comments about stuff they didn’t really try out themselves.
The subs aren’t on subscene (yet), so I wouldn’t download this (yet) unless you speak mandarin.
And I DO like this posting style better. Less personal judgement, more decent info.

re: Emule - this is a great gift from the German engineers. Its an open source clean low mem client that uses the edonkey p2p network. Its great for finding rare files and older downloads that torrents can have a lack there of.

Usually i hate romantic movies (ye i’m a guy hehe) but this movie just has a different charm. I mean American romantic movies are just jukky.
Young unexperienced actors with a bunch of “i love you” basically but here you got a original story and actors that can act. And yes he is pretty

you will need to edit the smaller file of the two files(unzipped files) set as….langidx: 1 and take out the chinese timestamps.
i.e. take out # Chinese and onward
all the way down to just above # English.
keep # English and all timestamps below # English.
this is assuming you want the english subs.
