ALLiANCE bring us a great DVD screener of “The Reader” that i know many of you have been waiting for, in which Kate Winslett won Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role in a Motion Picture at the Golden Globes and was nominated for many more. The Reader is based on the 1996 German novel with the same name. Quality is very good as expected from a 2 CD rip, enjoy.

When he falls ill on his way home from school, 15 year-old Michael Berg is rescued by Hanna, a woman twice his age. The two begin an unexpected and passionate affair only for Hanna to suddenly and inexplicably disappear. Eight years later, Michael, now a young law student observing Nazi war trials, meets his former lover again, under very different circumstances. Hanna is on trial for a hideous crime, and as she refuses to defend herself, Michael gradually realizes his boyhood love may be guarding a secret she considers to be more shameful than murder.

    you know there is nothing i like more than to run into pantywastes like yourself face to face. Your condescending comments are a dead give away to a fragile mindset. People who feel the need to talk down like that to people they don't even know do so because they hate themselves. So much so they can only make it through the day if they can convince them self every one around them is somehow inferior. Usually this happens because they didn't get the attention they needed from mommy or daddy growing up and as an adult you haven't lived up to the family name. …It also just means your a plain assho#$. So you go watch frasier and sip your red whine and discuss how lowly the people around you are and how much more class you have. But the part that gets me through having to listen to people like you is the knowledge that you will die alone and scared because you don't know how to build real relationships and therefore have no friends.

    God if only I could tell this to my patients ..not all ..just the few I have that are just like you…
