USA read a history book!! The French sat one out for a change…They have fought more wars than the usa has ever considered, not to mention you owe them what you call “democracy, sex in the afternoon, the tongue, fine wine, art, a wealth of scientific discoveries, etc”!
Mel does a good job here, reminiscent of Braveheart, of course, and still a stirring portrayal of the loss and sacrifice of all americans in a turbulent time…one of the bloodiest civil wars ever fought!

A pretty good movie, don’t pass this one up!

I really don’t care about historical inaccuracies or whatever, if I did I’d be watching documentaries all day so with that out of the way would I enjoy the movie?

I’m also a bit tight on my bandwidth and realise from imdb that this either 165 min or the 175 min (extended version), as NFO say’s 236(2h36m?) i’d guess that’s 156mins! what am I getting here is the question really If I’m getting a 2cd movie I’d like to know it’s the best version available so could anyone verify please, thanks

One of the worst movies ive ever seen, it is inaccurate and very similar to braveheart. If it wasn’t for the Spanish and mainly the French the American revolution would have been the American slaughter.
