It’s the first time I see a release of this “AUH” group, but the good news is that they bring a decent movie starring Mel Gibson. I have seen this film twice and I enjoyed watching it. Good rated with an average of 6,7 with more than 45 thousand of votes. A good opportunity for the people who have missed this. Quality looks fine and sound is very good. Enjoy!

One of my favorite movies. Pre-america was outnumbered and under financed but we still spanked those brits.

I have to agree with Mike. This movie is ridiculous, I actually laughed throughout this movie, is it really a comedy?

This movie is quite good. The dragoon guy is badass.
Hmmm… an Australian (descendent of English convict cast away from England in 17th century) plays American (descendent of English who I can only presume left England for selfish reasons) to fight against English (simply want to keep some sort of order among the rebels who now class themselves as Americans, although they hardly represent the lifestyle or morals of the true native Americans).
Does anyone else see an angry little man trying a game of one-up-manship against the English. Also see Braveheart…

One of the worst movies ive ever seen, it is inaccurate and very similar to braveheart. If it wasn’t for the Spanish and mainly the French the American revolution would have been the American slaughter.

I really don’t care about historical inaccuracies or whatever, if I did I’d be watching documentaries all day so with that out of the way would I enjoy the movie?
I’m also a bit tight on my bandwidth and realise from imdb that this either 165 min or the 175 min (extended version), as NFO say’s 236(2h36m?) i’d guess that’s 156mins! what am I getting here is the question really

I remember Mel Gibson waving the USA flag for two hours.
What I find amusing about this film is that Gibson’s character lost his wife long ago…But hey, she has a sister! Let’s go for her as well!

USA read a history book!! The French sat one out for a change…They have fought more wars than the usa has ever considered, not to mention you owe them what you call “democracy, sex in the afternoon, the tongue, fine wine, art, a wealth of scientific discoveries, etc”!
Mel does a good job here, reminiscent of Braveheart, of course, and still a stirring portrayal of the loss and sacrifice of all americans in a turbulent time…one of the bloodiest civil wars ever fought!
A pretty good movie, don’t pass this one up!
