My favorite mockumentary (Trailer Park Boys is now finished) returns for its fourth season on NBC. Starring Steve Carell and Rainn Wilson. The Office (US version) is an Emmy and Peabody Award-winning American television comedy that debuted on NBC as a midseason replacement on March 24, 2005. The show is about the daily lives of office employees in the Scranton, Pennsylvania branch of the fictitious Dunder-Mifflin Paper Company. Although fictional and scripted, the show takes the form of a documentary, with the presence of the camera often acknowledged. HR and 720p releases should be out a little later, but if you can’t wait 12 hrs like me then download and watch the HDTV version. Tonight’s episode title Fun Run is considered as E01E02 because of the hour long air time. I can’t wait to see it, Enjoy!
A freak accident causes Michael to feel the office is cursed. He explores the religious beliefs of his employees before deciding to hold a charity 5K fun run. Meanwhile, further developments in the romances of Pam and Jim and Dwight and Angela are explored

This show is definitely an acquired taste. You can’t walst in not watching one ep then on season 4 and expect things to be funny. I watched a few s3 eps and it isn’t really that funny, more towards the “WTF?” sort of humor and references to story blah blah blah… I watched a few eps, found it kinda funny. Not amazing , I should probably start with season 1.

@7 Earl is totally on the same comedy level as the office, but not the same style of show. Ones a sitcom and ones a mockumentry. Jason Lee and Ethan Suplee are hilarious together.

Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant who are the writers of the original The Office made two series because they are NOT sellouts, because they DONT want to OVERDO something just because they make money off it and because they finished something great and left it at that, because it was simply good enough.
