If you recall, years back we posted the DVDRip of this film. Surprisingly, it gained a lot of attention after an interesting email from the producers was received. They thanked piracy in general and RLSLOG for marketing this film and making it what it is today. Anyway, CiNEFiLE is here with the 720p rip release. Enjoy!

The Man From Earth concerns Professor John Oldman, a scientist who summons a group of associates to a cabin one freezing night, and strikes them with a fantastic revelation: he is not a traditional human, but a 14,000 year-old immortal, who has survived centuries of evolution from the Cro-Magnon Era to the present. In the hours to follow, Professor Oldman’s earth-shaking assertion about himself challenges the men on spiritual, scientific and historical levels.     This is probably one of the best films of the last half decade and having only just discovered the producer/director reach out to the community it not only solidifies the pleasure I take in having purchased a copy already but I am now going to buy a copy or two as gifts for friends and family.

    Wow, by sheer coincidence i was only thinking of this film a couple of days ago and ordered it off amazon and it arrived just about the same time this was posted, sweet! think i shall watch this version though instead of the dvd that just arrived for much better quality!

    Makes you think. And it shows how easy it might be for a few, morally ambiguous men to profit and control huge masses of people.
    If you like this, you might also like the Zietgeist documentary.

    Jesus christ, you’re all so easily blinded… This movie is soooo cheap.The whole concept is evident by the 5th minute even for a 6 year old.The acting is shameful, and the story is nothing original, if you ever took a little time to poke around in sc-fi / fantasy short story compilations, you must have came across this sort of stuff a hundred times.
    The most annoying thing about is that it tries to be very clever, but in fact you have to very very dumb, to find this mind blowing…

    I agree with you about the cheapness of it all.And what really go tho me was the music,so bery very bad.having said that I really enjoyed the movie and I thought the story itself and yes,I know about the book,was excellent.I was especially drawn by the Jesus bit.
