Yay for screener season! :D Here is a pretty huge release from 2 P2P groups who have combined their efforts (Lynks and PrisM) to bring us this nice and early DVDSCREENER of Peter Jacksons “The Lovely Bones”, which is based on the 2002 novel novel from Alice Sebold. I really been looking forward to this film, it has received some decent reviews. Quality wise, well its not the best DVD Screener we have seen but its still a really watchable release.

The Lovely Bones is based on the best selling book by Alice Sebold, and is told from the perspective of Susan Salmon, a 14-year-old suburban girl who is raped and murdered by her neighbor on her way home from school. After her murder, she lives in the “in between” and watches her family adjust to her being gone and tries to help them find her killer.

    By the looks of #2 screenshot yes it has got the properties at the bottom of the screen, quality looks good though.

    not on imdb. Reviews on imdb are overwhelmingly negative (which is not really reflected in the score).

    the scene needs to evolve a bit and phase out this xvid crap! most people have a full hd big screen tv and xvids like this look like crap on it. I wont watch anything less than a Full DVDr on it. The scene should adopt at least a full resolution x26 rip even at 2cd size it would bee pretty much dvd quality.

    Well i agree with regards to the quality and i won’t watch this one either, but because of the source it wouldn’t make the quality better to convert this one to DVD/BD. It’s a dvdscr so not a very good source and i’m sure it will be available as DVD/BD as well when released/available. It’s the source that matters with regards to the quality of video/audio. Crap in then crap out. Also this is a NonScene release so doesn’t really have anything to do with the scene.

    Most people do not have hdtvs yet as for me I do and it looked fine maybe your hdtv was a cheapo lol, and this screener is just fine dont know what this guy is saying.I think they let anyone give reviews which is sad because most of them do not know what they are talking about,and if they made standalone players that play x26 then I would agree but there is divx xvid hd which u can convert a mkv to avi in full resolution.and pop in ur divx player

    @ 86 .. you must have a cheap hdtv then because this looks great playing from my HTPC to my 50″ Panasonic plasma .. why would you download HD content for every movie you want to watch ?? .. I only do that for classics .. known good movies .. and movies with outstanding special effects .. not for an average movie as this .. wake up will you ..

    @91 I agree with you i have a big screen tv hd 1080 but not all files you get and play are looking very good but you can with certain software Change it 2 720p or evan 1080p if need be for your Tv people just dont want 2 take the time and fix the just want to B**ch about every little thing.

    This is a little messy, but certainly you won’t notice that much mess on a standard definition TV. Watching it on a Laptop even if it’s a small screen will hinder the experience as you will easily see distracting artifacts.

    Watch on SD TV with lights out.
